Fire Brigade by the brigade’s captain Bruce Forrest as well. Bruce said Keith joined the Brigade in 1973 where he devoted his life to the town and wider community. “Keith achieved an outstanding and unique record holding the captain’s position consecutively for 30 years before retiring from
the role in 2015,” he said. “He continued to be a devoted brigade member where he held many positions within the brigade and the district.” He said Keith contributed thousands of hours over the years in his voluntary role which included meetings and training weekends. ■ Continued page 2
