The 20 year success story THE 20 year success story that is North East Fasteners is based on some simple business principles that still stand as strong today as when the business first opened its doors in 1997. To quote business manager Colin McMonigle in The Chronicle a week before the official opening: “We are going to offer a comprehensive range, very competitive pricing and a high level of efficient, friendly service. I believe very firmly in the future of Wangaratta and at North
East Fasteners we want to be a part of that growth and development. All we ask is that anyone, whether it be a major firm, builder, farmer or a home handyman, give us a chance”. Today Colin is managing a much bigger and way more broadly stocked store, but as he reflected on the past 20 years, he confidently says that his original business aims have well and truly stood the test of time.

North East Fasteners manager Colin McMonigle said that supporting local communities is essential, especially for small businesses. “Local businesses need to support local things, because that’s where your business comes from,” Mr McMonigle said.
