Spring arrives with fun on the mountain
MT BULLER has turned up the fun this September, as the resort celebrates the arrival of Spring. September is known for iconic Spring events including the ABOM Mogul Challenge, the Subaru Australian Interschools Championships, the very colourful ‘80s Day as well as the popular Corona Extra Pond Skim National Championships. Spring is a sensational time to visit Mt Buller, and visitors can enjoy heavily discounted accommodation, with up to 50 per cent off the peak season rates at many properties across the mountain, free overnight

The annual ABOM Mogul Challenge this past weekend saw world-class freestylers and mogul enthusiasts tackle the bumps in a bid to win fantastic prizes. throughout the day, a World Record attempt for the most amount of one-piece ski suits in one place, and the annual 80s Après Party where there’ll be a DJ, prizes for the best dressed and more. The mountain is also currently hosting hundreds of school students from across the country competing in the 2015 Australian Interschool Snowsports Championships. Returning to Victoria in 2015, Mt Buller is proud to host this massive week-long event which see students compete in a range of disciplines from cross country to snowboarder cross from September 9 to 13.

The Corona Extra Pond Skim National Championships return to Mt Buller for the second time on Saturday, September 19. Spectators will enjoy seeing participants dressed in crazy costumes skim across a temporary dam on Bourke Street, taking on silly stunts to get from one side of the dam to the other. Celebrations will continue with après drinks and a barbecue at the Corona Beer Garden on Bourke Street, with an after party kicking on into the evening at Moosehead.
