Brighter Days ahead By MARTIN DAVIS mdavis@nemedia.com.au BRIGHTER days are ahead with the Brighter Days Festival looking to again deliver three days of entertainment at Pioneer Park in Bright next month. Festival vice president Jason Reid is excited about the event going ahead, with some big artists set to play when the event kicks off on March 11.

Everything y g on track for return of major j festival in March “We are very happy to be busy organising our event once again after our disappointing cancellation due to COVID last year,” he said. “We will be having all the usual family fun at our new facility at Pioneer Park this year with an exciting lineup of artists and the array of other activities

that combine to make the festival what it has become renowned for.” Vanessa Amorosi, Screamin’ Eagles and 2011 X Factor winner Reece Mastin are among the artists set to perform. Many different events are happening throughout the weekend for people of all ages, with a kids zone to

offer pony and amusement rides and a circus. There will be a car and bike show, a Babes longest lunch for the ladies, and an ‘Amazing Chase’ where teams go around Bright completing puzzles and challenges. Mr Reid said the Brighter Days Festival will be raising money for the Brighter

Days foundation which will be able to support various children’s charities. There is still time to purchase raffle tickets to win a Ford Mustang Mach-1 fastback, with all proceeds going to the Brighter Days foundation. “Our committee has gone all out this year which will be our tenth year
