Distance Education

We understand that life may keep you from being physically present

on campus during the traditional academic year. Our distance

education program is curated for those who are unable to attend

weekly, in-person classes. Powered by our tradition of academic

excellence and world-class faculty, our distance education program

allows students to complete seminary courses with flexibility.

No matter the pace of your study, there is a distance education option

for you. Every semester, we offer courses through online lecture,

video conference and intersession modules in a variety of methods.

• ONLINE COURSES, live classes offered via Zoom or independent study (by permission only) using various online resources.

• MODULAR DELIVERY, a one week, condensed intersession course, offered in-person and on-campus, or in some cases, it is offered online.

• HYBRID OPTION, allows students to take courses by combining online and modular formats.

• DIRECTED STUDY, (by permission) allows the student to work in an area of special academic interest under the direct supervision of a faculty member.

• PARTNERSHIPS, allow students to complete some transferable courses in order to fulfill specific Providence programs.
