Get In the Spirit At the Winter Stroll Get ready to kick off the holiday season with a magical evening on beautiful Hope Street! The 5th annual Winter Stroll returns on Thursday, December 5* from 4-8pm, and it promises a night of holiday cheer, family fun, food, shopping, music and so much more. Head over to the upper Hope Street area (north of Rochambeau) for this free event, and be sure to bring the family.

The street will be closed to traffic, making way for pedestrians, strollers, street performers and merrymakers. There will be free refreshments alongside food trucks. You can go on a hayride, make some furry friends at the petting zoo, or get your picture taken with Santa. (Let the kids go first, please.) Fire jugglers, glass blowers, and the Providence Children’s Film Festival will be showing off what they do. The Greg Abate Quartet will be playing jazz from 7-8:30 at the Providence Community Library.
