Providence Welcomes the Cotswold Farmers Market
Evidence of spring is everywhere. Flowers are in bloom, birds are singing, and every breeze is laden with pollen. Spring is an exciting season of transition, newness, and possibilities. And with this seasonal excitement often comes opportunities for new partnerships and collaborations.
This spring, Providence Baptist Church will begin an exciting new partnership that will help us further our Providence Will priorities of Engaging Cotswold and Blessing Charlotte. Beginning Saturday, May 6, our church will welcome the Cotswold Farmers Market onto our campus. Every Saturday from May until October, local farmers will gather in our Hunter Lane parking lot to sell their fresh produce,
seasonal fruits, flowers, veggies, breads, eggs, and meats. The Cotswold Farmers Market will also showcase local musicians, artisans, and entrepreneurs from the surrounding area. This partnership will bring together crowds of local volunteers, farmers, and customers from all over the Queen City. That’s a “win” for Providence Baptist Church. I believe this partnership will help our church campus become a thriving hub of community activity throughout the season. You’re invited to be a part of this exciting partnership! How so? A good start is to follow the Cotswold Farmers Market on Facebook or Instagram. Visit the Cotswold Farmers Market website and sign up for their e-newsletter. And – of course – come
and shop the market (open 8 a.m. until noon on Saturdays). Tell your neighbors and friends about it. You can also volunteer to help set up or break down the market. Come and be a part of this exciting new community partnership!
