Providence General Foundation and Chairpersons Mark and Kathy Duffy welcome you to 4 h An

benefiting children’s services at Providence Everett
PRESENTING SPONSOR
Dear Friends,
It is with great joy and heartfelt appreciation that Kathy and I welcome each and every one of you. We are truly honored to serve as your Festival of Trees chairs this year, having attended this wonderful event every year since 2000. It means so much to see all of you gathered tonight in support of a cause that is deeply meaningful to us.
Our connection to Providence runs deep. Kathy has volunteered in the Providence General Children’s Association Colby gift shop for over 20 years, serving as co-manager for the past 15 years. She has also poured her creativity into the Festival of Trees over the years, designing countless beautiful trees and wreaths. My own involvement has been through the Providence General Foundation board, where I’ve served since 2001 – currently as treasurer and previously as board chair.
Our children, Marcus and Kaitlin, have also been part of this journey. Both volunteered at Camp Prov during high school, and while in college, Kaitlin completed her speech-language pathology internship at the children’s center and later returned to Camp Prov as a unit leader.
Beyond our volunteer work, Providence holds a special place in our hearts. Both of our children were born here, and our family has benefited greatly from the exceptional care provided by this state-of-the-art hospital. We are profoundly grateful to have such a remarkable institution serving our community.
This year’s Festival is especially meaningful to us because proceeds will benefit the Providence Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse (PICAA). Located at Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center, PICAA provides vital medical, forensic and counseling services to children and adults impacted by sexual assault and traumatic violence. Having served on the Dawson Place board for the past 13 years, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible impact PICAA has in helping survivors seek justice and begin to heal.
We extend our deepest thanks to our generous sponsors, donors, volunteers and staff – and to all of you here tonight. Your presence reflects the compassion and commitment that make this community so special. Together, we are building a brighter, stronger future for all.
With sincere gratitude,

We’re proud to honor Providence General Children’s Association (PGCA) with this year’s Spirit of Festival award, a tribute to its longstanding and heartfelt support of Festival of Trees.
Since 1950, this all-volunteer organization has raised funds to nurture the health and well-being of children across northwest Washington. This spirit of compassion and service shines brightly at Festival of Trees. PGCA volunteers make Festival sparkle with success, year after year. They create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, coordinate Community Day and Teddy Bear Celebration, help with gala in multiple roles and manage many more behind-the-scenes details for magical touches that make the event unforgettable. PGCA also often leads the way during the Fund a Need paddler aise, offering generous support of programs and services for local children such as Camp Prov.
We extend our deepest gratitude to PGCA for their partnership in making Festival of Trees a cherished tradition filled with joy, generosity and community. We are so pleased to recognize them with our eighth annual Spirit of Festival award.

Proceeds from Festival of Trees will benefit Providence children's services, investing in the health and development of the babies and children in our growing community.
With your donations this evening, you're making a meaningful difference by ensuring that the smallest and most fragile among us receive exceptional care.
You are helping finance vital programs and services including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Children's Center, the Providence Boyden Family Autism Center and Camp Prov –a summer day camp for children with special health care needs.
During the Fund a Need portion of tonight's auction, you'll have the opportunity to donate to the Providence Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse (PICAA), helping children, adolescents and adults survive one of the worst traumas imaginable. This is a tough topic, but one that we hope you'll tackle with us as we raise funds so Providence can provide hope and healing to those facing their most vulnerable time.
For more information about PICAA and this urgent need, please see page 36.
Thank you for your generous support tonight!

Tonight, you can bring healing and hope to someone in our community who has endured the unthinkable.
For nearly 1,000 children, adolescents and adults each year, the Providence Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse (PICAA) is a critical source of safety and care following sexual assault, domestic violence or physical abuse.
Most survivors first arrive at our area’s local emergency departments, where PICAA’s specially trained forensic nurses, advocates, therapists and social workers begin the healing process. They provide medical care, collect evidence and offer emotional and practical support –so no one has to face this trauma alone.
Since 1997, PICAA has cared for tens of thousands of survivors, many of whom are children.
Now, this essential resource is in jeopardy. Federal and state funding cuts threaten to limit – or even end - the care PICAA provides. This program urgently needs philanthropic support to continue.
Your generous gift tonight can keep PICAA’s services open 24/7 for children and families across our region. You’ll help ensure compassionate, trauma-informed care continues for every survivor who needs it.
Your support can help transform moments of deep crisis into the first steps toward healing.
Thank you for advancing Providence’s Mission of compassionate care for all – especially the poor and vulnerable. Your generosity can be exactly what someone needs in their darkest moment.
Unwrap the magic of the holidays with a case of 2022 Covale Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon – rich, bold and ready to make your celebrations unforgettable. Whether you're hosting a cozy gathering or ringing in the new year with loved ones, each sip offers a moment of elegance and cheer. So bid high, toast often and let this exceptional wine turn your holiday celebrations into cherished memories.
