Thank you for considering a nomination for our ′Celebrating You′ Awards!
The 'Celebrating You' Awards are our way of shining a light on colleagues and teams who make Provide Community so special.
They are about celebrating the care, compassion and innovation we see every day and recognising those who inspire us through their achievements.
From every day acts of kindness to innovations that transform services, these awards honour the difference colleagues make for each other, for the people we support and for our communities.
This is your chance to recognise individuals or teams and shine a light on those who have made a meaningful impact through their dedication, creativity and exceptional efforts.
The 'Celebrating You' Awards criteria are designed to guide you in identifying and highlighting outstanding achievements within each category. Please refer to these when preparing your nomination to ensure your submission reflects the qualities we value most.
How to Nominate
As you complete your nomination, keep the criteria in mind to help spotlight those who go above and beyond - those who inspire excellence in others and make a real difference in our community.
A panel of colleague judges will review all submissions and winners will be announced at the 'Celebrating You' Awards event on Thursday 12 November 2026
We truly appreciate your participation and look forward to celebrating the amazing colleagues who help make Provide Community so special.

AWARDS CRITERIA
INDIVIDUAL AWARD
Care
To recognise a colleague for whom care is at the heart of everything they do, inspiring those around them through their dedication and kindness.
In this category, we are looking for nominations for colleagues who:
Proactively seek ways to deliver the highest levels of care to patients, service users or customers
Show genuine passion for their role and build strong, trusting relationships
Listen and communicate well to support others’ needs
Create a positive, friendly environment and boost team morale, even during challenging times
Consistently go above and beyond expectations in the care they provide
Include a specific example that demonstrates how your nominee delivers outstanding care or simply tell us why you believe they deserve to be recognised.

Beth Jarrett, Care Navigator, Care Co-ordination Centre
Beth kept clinics running smoothly, supported colleagues whenever needed and ensured every patient felt informed, valued and cared for throughout their experience.

INDIVIDUAL AWARD
Innovation (and Transformation)
To celebrate an individual who challenges the norm, bringing innovative ideas, improvements and solutions that make life and work better for everyone and help Provide Community evolve and transform for the future.
In this category, we are looking for nominations for colleagues who:
Present creative suggestions to improve services, working conditions or outcomes
Demonstrate critical thinking to innovate, improve ways of working and implement practical solutions that support positive change or transformation
Bring ideas to life through clear, constructive planning and insight
Embrace new opportunities with a positive, agile approach and a willingness to collaborate
Continuously seek to learn, develop and improve themselves and their work
Include a specific example showing your nominee's innovation in action, particularly where their ideas, improvements or new approaches have helped transform the way we work, deliver services or improve outcomes for others.

2025 WINNER
Daniel Flint, Senior Software Developer, IT and Data Services
Daniel developed innovative digital tools, including the Provide My Booking and Ask Provide apps, improving accessibility, security and engagement across the organisation.

INDIVIDUAL AWARD
Compassion
To celebrate a colleague whose compassion touches everyone they meet, always putting others first with empathy and understanding.
In this category, we are looking for nominations for colleagues who:
Consistently show kindness, care and support to everyone, even when facing their own challenges
Make time to offer help, advice and reassurance to colleagues and those they serve
Go beyond their role to show compassion in their community, volunteering or raising funds for causes they care about
Provide practical and emotional support to those in need, signposting to wellbeing resources
Create a more supportive, caring environment for patients, service users, customers and colleagues
Please share a specific example that shows your nominee’s compassionate actions or tell us about them and why they deserve this recognition.

Samuel Chalmers, Community Nurse, Integrated Care Team
Samuel provided practical support, reassurance and compassionate care to a vulnerable patient, remaining with her until she was safe and appropriately supported.

Care
To recognise a team who embodies the Provide Community care value, working together to deliver outstanding care and support to those around them.
In this category, we are looking for nominations for teams who:
Proactively find ways to improve care for patients, service users, customers or colleagues
Build strong relationships through effective listening and communication
Foster a positive, friendly team environment where everyone feels supported
Work together to lift morale and live and breathe our values even when times are tough
Consistently go above and beyond to provide exceptional care
Include a specific example of how this team demonstrates outstanding care or tell us why they should be recognised.

St Peter's Hospital Outpatients Team, Provide Health
Working closely with Mid and South Essex clinics, the team delivered outstanding patient-centred care, anticipating needs, supporting colleagues and creating a welcoming experience for everyone they met.

Innovation (and Transformation)
To recognise a team who works together to think differently, innovate and drive improvements that make a meaningful difference for colleagues, patients, service users or customers and help Provide Community evolve and transform for the future.
In this category, we are looking for nominations for teams who:
Brainstorm and suggest creative solutions as a team
Demonstrate critical thinking to innovate, transform or improve processes to deliver better outcomes and experiences
Plan and implement new ideas collaboratively and effectively
Embrace opportunities with a positive, agile mindset and openness to learning
Continuously strive to develop their team and the services they deliver
Include a specific example showing how this team's innovation, improvements or new ways of working have made a difference, helped transform services or delivered better outcomes for colleagues, patients, service users or customers.

Systems Team, Resources Directorate
The team expanded and embedded digital solutions across multiple services, successfully implementing new systems that improved care delivery, operational oversight and colleague experience.

Compassion
To recognise a team whose compassion drives everything they do, creating a caring, supportive environment for colleagues and communities.
In this category, we are looking for nominations for teams who:
Show compassion beyond their own team, offering help and support to the organisation or the wider community
Actively support their wider community through volunteering or fundraising
Provide practical and emotional support to those in need
Actively signpost to health and wellbeing resources
Work together to create an inclusive and compassionate environment for everyone
Include a specific example of how this team demonstrates compassion in action or tell us why they should be celebrated.

Essex Wellbeing Service Outreach Team, Enterprise Directorate
The team took compassionate support into local communities, providing health checks, wellbeing coaching and practical help to people experiencing homelessness, isolation and health inequalities.

Leadership Every Day Award
To recognise a colleague who demonstrates outstanding everyday leadership through their actions, behaviours and positive influence on others, regardless of role or title.
In this category, we are looking for nominations for colleagues who:
Role model Provide Community’s values in their daily actions
Inspire trust, confidence and positivity in others
Lead by example through integrity, fairness, accountability and a commitment to our employee-owned culture
Support teams through change or challenge
Make a positive difference simply through how they show up
This award celebrates leadership that is lived, not labelled.
NOTE: This is for an individual in a non-executive, non-governor role.

Developing Others Award
To recognise a colleague who is committed to helping others learn, grow and achieve their potential through coaching, support and developments.
In this category, we are looking for nominations where the individual:
Encourages learning, confidence and progression
Coaches, mentors or supports colleagues to develop new skills
Creates opportunities for others to grow or try new things
Shares knowledge generously and inclusively
Helps colleagues see their potential and build belief in themselves
This award celebrates those who invest in people and help them flourish.

Health and Wellbeing Champion Award
To recognise a colleague who actively promotes the health, wellbeing and resilience of others, helping colleagues thrive and creating a positive, supportive working environment.
In this category, we are looking for nominations for colleagues who:
Actively look out for the wellbeing of colleagues
Promote healthy, safe and sustainable ways of working
Create space for conversations about wellbeing and mental health
Offer practical support, signposting or adjustments where needed
Lead with empathy, kindness and compassion
This award recognises those who help others thrive, not just cope.

INDIVIDUAL OR TEAM AWARD
Inclusion and Belonging Award
To recognise an individual or team who champions inclusion, equity and belonging, ensuring all colleagues and communities feel respected, valued and included.
In this category, we are looking for nominations for individuals or teams who:
Proactively create an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected, supported and able to be themselves
Champion and celebrate diversity, fostering belonging across the organisation or the wider community
Take practical actions to reduce barriers and ensure equitable opportunities for all
Have contributed to positive cultural change within their team, service or the wider organisation
Actively listen to and amplify underrepresented voices to shape better outcomes for colleagues and communities
In this category, it may be helpful to highlight a specific example that demonstrates how your nominee has advanced inclusion and belonging at Provide Community or just tell us about them and why you think they deserve to be recognised.

Kerry McCabe, HIV Support Manager, HIV Support Service
Kerry championed dignity, inclusion and equitable access to support, working across services to help vulnerable people regain independence and feel truly seen and valued.

INDIVIDUAL OR TEAM AWARD
Sustainability and Social Impact Award
To celebrate an individual or team making a significant difference in environmental sustainability and/or social impact, reflecting Provide Community's commitment as a social enterprise to transform lives and protect future generations.
In this category, we are looking for nominations for individuals or teams who:
Demonstrate leadership in environmental sustainability initiatives (e.g. reducing waste, carbon footprint, promoting green practices)
Champion or deliver social impact projects that improve lives within the wider community
Inspire others through creative ideas and practical actions that support Provide Community's social enterprise mission
Collaborate across departments, services or external partners to drive sustainable and impactful change
Show measurable outcomes or lasting benefits to people, communities or the environment
In this category, it may be helpful to highlight a specific project, programme or behaviour demonstrating the nominee’s commitment to sustainability and social impact/value or just tell us why you think they deserve to be recognised.

INDIVIDUAL AWARD
The 'Council of Governors'Governor of the Year Award
To recognise a Governor who has made an outstanding contribution to colleagues, the organisation or the wider community through their dedication and support.
In this category, we are looking for nominations for Governors who:
Are visible, approachable and supportive to Members
Enable positive change in communities through funding initiatives or volunteering
Help colleagues to engage with Provide Community initiatives and opportunities
Demonstrate innovation in their approach to the Governor role
Go above and beyond to represent and support Members
Please include a specific example of how this Governor has made a difference or simply tell us why they deserve to be recognised.

Sharon Roberts, Senior Administrator, Provide Carecall247
Sharon actively promoted employee ownership, supported service visits and mentored new Governors to help colleagues understand and engage with the role of the Council of Governors.
INDIVIDUAL AWARD
The 'Spirit of Provide' Award
To celebrate a colleague who consistently embodies Provide Community's mission, vision and values, demonstrating an exceptional commitment to transforming lives through Care, Compassion and Innovation. This is the award for the colleague who represents the very best of Provide Community.
In this category, we are looking for nominations for colleagues who:
Go above and beyond to support patients, people we support, customers or colleagues
Are valued team members who actively support and uplift others
Demonstrate compassion through volunteering or community support
Continuously seek to learn, collaborate and improve, embracing new ideas and challenges with positivity
Proudly represent Provide Community's mission and lead by its values
Include a specific example demonstrating how your nominee embodies the 'Spirit of Provide' or simply tell us why they deserve this recognition.

2025 WINNER
Donna Brown, Lymphoedema Specialist Nurse, Provide Health
Donna developed innovative approaches to supporting patients with lymphoedema and cardiac failure, improving outcomes while delivering exceptional person-centred care with warmth and expertise.
