Just some of our achievements...

In the last 10 years Provide has donated over £3 million to organisations helping to transform lives in our Communities in the last 10 years.

£3m We have helped a number of volunteers get back into paid work by providing professionally recognised training programmes, a mentoring programme and access to a wide range of career opportunities.

Provide has contributed £877,500 to local Universities to support Student Bursaries, Graduate Development Schemes and Community based research.

We have created 10 volunteer places each year for students completing the Public Health Degree in Anglia Ruskin University to have practical experience of working with the broad range of people who use our services. This experience has improved employment opportunities and helped us to gain great insight into our sexual health and Older People services from student research We have had 47 students completed the Certificate in Charity and Social Enterprise Management (Cert HE). This equates to £106,000 in sponsorship.

Provide Outstanding Student of the year award

at Anglia Ruskin University during the last 7 years.

‘Being accepted for this bursary really changes everything for me. Having overcome many challenges in order to reach this point and become a doctor is a dream come true.’

For the last 7 years we have supported a total 19 people with the Provide ARU School of Medicine Bursaries and the Provide Hardship Bursaries by donating £49,000 through our partnership with Anglia Ruskin University.

We have donated £45,000 to organisations providing support for people affected by a stroke.

We have donated £63,904 to organisations that are directly supporting people with dementia in our local communities.

We have supported 351 volunteers to complete 20,677 volunteering hours (since 2015). The highest reported volunteer hours completed by an individual volunteer for a year was a driver who completed 1,680 during the first 12 months of the Coronavirus pandemic.
