Coucou, Glendon !

Hello! My name is Ariana, and I am honoured to be Pro Tem’s new Editor in Chief! I am thrilled to announce our first issue of the 2022-2023 school year, which is chockfull of intrigue, contemplation, and nostalgia for the slowly ebbing days of summer. We’re now nearing the end of September, and back-to-school season is in full swing, with courses and books galore! Being back on campus is such a wondrous experience, and I encourage you all to take advantage of what Glendon has to offer, including the grounds in all their stunning autumn glory. This year’s team, supported by all of our talented contributors, are excited to return to work putting together our first issue of Pro Tem, now in its 61st year of publication. I am looking forward to the upcoming year at both Pro Tem and Glendon, and I cannot wait to get started! Il y a encore quelques changements dans les opérations de Pro Tem en raison de COVID-19. Notre retour aux copies imprimées a été long à venir, et je suis ravi d’annoncer que nous reviendrons aux copies physiques du journal. Nous en avons eu un petit avant-goût avec le numéro 10 de 2021-2022, dont les exemplaires ont volé dans les kiosques au printemps dernier. As a longtime advocate for freedom of speech, Pro Tem believes in the ultimate power of the student voice in enacting change and bringing attention to varying areas of interest. Pro Tem intends to continue its historical mission of serving as a reliable platform for student expression. We hope to provide an inclusive space for members of the Glendon community, regardless of the language you speak, the type of work you submit, or your major, and publish issues representative of Glendon’s unique community and close-knit atmosphere. Throughout all your years at Glendon, and whether on-campus or virtual, Pro Tem will always be here for you to express yourself and speak up on what matters most to you.
