Why do Ford offer Enhanced Security?

Theft of valuable items from vans is a significant issue in Europe, causing frustration and financial loss. Ford Pro aims to help businesses protect their assets with Enhanced Security packs, which are tailored solutions designed to strengthen defences against these threats.

Why isn't enhanced security standard?

Not all vans carry the same cargo, with some transporting building materials and others highvalue equipment. Installing enhanced security on every van would be costly and unnecessary. Our pack approach allows customers to choose and pay for the appropriate level of protection based on their cargo, locations, and risk assessment.

Why choose factory-fit security?

When security is integrated on the production line by Ford, it ensures seamless compatibility with the vehicle's systems. This results in enhanced protection, fewer installation issues, and the added benefit of Ford's warranty, offering better long-term value and peace of mind compared to aftermarket installations.

Packs Overview: AAKBA - Enhanced Security Replock™ (Cabin Space)

AAKBA - Enhanced Security Replock™ Available on: Transit Van, Transit Custom, Transit Courier The Enhanced Security RepLock™ replaces the standard drivers door lock and is a unique, patented high-security replacement cylinder.

Made from a high-grade stainless steel and makes it very difficult for potential thieves to pick the driver’s door open to gain access to the vehicle.

Included in this pack: Front Door Anti-Pick RepLock™ *Important Note: Enhanced Security RepLock™ is supplied with a stainless steel covering for Transit Van, Transit Minibus and Transit Chassis. Transit Custom and Transit Courier are supplied with colour coded barrel and fitted with a ‘anti-hole-cutter drill’ proof retainer.

AAKAF - Cabin Deadlock Pack Available on: Transit Van, Transit Custom

The Cabin Deadlock pack by TVL is factory fitted providing additional protection and mechanical locks in the cabin area.

RepLock prevents the driver's door lock from being compromised.

Deadlocks are independently operated locks that cast a bolt between the door and B pillar once engaged to provide additional security on both front doors.

Latch Safes are fitted to all load space doors to protect from external puncture attempts to override the mechanism Loom guards (front and rear cargo doors / tailgate) to prevent the door looms from being severed.

AAKAG - Loadspace Hooklock Pack Available on: Transit Van, Transit Custom The Hook Lock Rear Load Space Pack by TVL is factory fitted, providing additional protection and mechanical locks in the load space area.

RepLock prevents the driver's door lock from being compromised.

Hooklocks are fitted on all the load space doors, locking the door to the pillar using a highstrength hook.

Anti Peel / DoorKeeper bracket holds the door in place should there be excessive force applied to try and force it apart when closed Latch Safes are fitted to all load space doors to protect from external puncture attempts to override the mechanism.

Loom guards (cabin doors and rear cargo doors / tailgate) prevent the door looms from being severed.
