Apple Podcasts remains our most popular audio platform, followed closely by Spotify. Our Youtube channel continues to grow fastest of all, driven by the huge popularity of our short form videos.
Our three largest audience regions are Australia/Asia Pacific, North America, and Europe. We also have a very large audience in China which is not well captured on these metrics, and we are very grateful to our Gold partners, Bayer China, who promote translated episodes of the podcast in China.

Featuring Yao Zhu and a selection of top Chinese experts, we focus on hot topics in GU Oncology in China.
Each episode is sub-titled in Mandarin and hosted on local podcast sites thanks to our Gold Partners, Bayer China.
We have also recorded a number of episodes on site in Shanghai in our magnificent studio.
Live events have become a popular extension of manypopularpodcasts around theworld. Ourfirst live event inAugust 2023 was a GU Cast debate at theANZUPAnnual Meeting supported byourSilverPartner MSD. Overthe pastyearwe have done further highvalue live events including a Friday evening dinnerevent forJohnson&Johnson featuring two international guests, and a webinaron intensification of hormonal therapysupported byMundipharmawhich we hosted from ourstudio.
The live event format allowed audience to engage directlywith ourfacultyand case presentations.All of these events allow great engagement forthe audience, and of course are subsequentlyposted as podcasts forthosewho could not get there in person.

As GU Cast continues to serve the wider GU oncology community through an educational viewpoint, there has been a need to expand the team. David is a resident doctor in Melbourne, and an incoming PhD candidate/research fellow at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre We’ve invited David on board to be the new GU Cast branding and partnerships manager. We rewarded three of our avid audience with all-expenses paid Travel Grant to attend the APCCC in Switzerland. Alice, Sean and Christian flew from Australia and Canada to enjoy the world’s best prostate cancer meeting in Switzerland.

The last five years have been an incredible journey for GU Cast. We have learnt so much and continue to grow year on year. In the short term, we plan on rolling out CPD officially, along with a new GU Cast website and the first Journal Club episode launching in August. We are are planning to debut a new series called GU Cast explainer. We are looking forward to hosting more live events in the future!
