Welcome from the Board of Trustees

Welcome

I’ve been where you are right now. I vividly recall the combined feelings of excitement and anxiousness as my family arrived in Prosper ISD. While confident we were in the right place, being the new family ‘on the block’ came with a sense of uncertainty. It didn’t take long...in fact, less than 48 hours, and another group of families caused us to lose our ‘newest family’ title rank. While I congratulate you on your decision of choosing Prosper ISD to partner with on the public education journey and I extend a hearty welcome to you as you join our growing family and amazing community, I must tell you that in a very short time, you’ll be looking back to extend greetings to the next group of newcomers. Please know that as today’s newest family, we are thrilled that you’re here.

As Prosper ISD continues to grow, the School Board and District Administration remain committed to doing everything within our power to make sure that our students receive the highest quality education possible. We are committed to providing opportunities for students that enrich their education while supporting their social and emotional growth.

We hope that you will get involved in our community and school district that is steep in tradition and school spirit. We have many opportunities to get involved from advisory committees and booster clubs to PTOs, informational events, and community activities. Our Prosper Promise is a district initiative designed to provide multiple avenues for our students, staff, parents, and community to partner with the district as we continue to grow.

Welcome to Prosper! We look forward to serving your family!

On behalf of the Prosper ISD Board of Trustees,

Mr. Drew Wilborn, President
