Royal Brantley is a former Director and Regents Professor of Theatre at West Texas A&M University. After receiving his BA he served as a professional intern and company member at the Dallas Theater Center where through Trinity University he earned his MFA. He directed over seventy-seven productions at WTAMU, received regional and national directing awards from the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival, served as a Directing Fellow at the Julliard School in NYC, and has had the honor of judging the State UIL OAP Contest on several occasions.

Lisa Hale - Plano, Tx. Retired MS Theatre UNT BFA UT Austin

Lisa Hale has been involved in UIL as a student, director, contest manager and adjudicator. As a high school director she made two appearances at the UIL State Meet including a state championship . As an adjudicator she has judged on every level from Zone to the State Meet. She has been awarded the Texas Educational Theatre Association Educator of the Year and served on the S&P Committee for TTAO. Lisa is a big believer in UIL and the opportunities it gives students across the state. She holds a BFA in Drama Education from The University of Texas and a Masters in Theatre from The University of North Texas

Michael Kim Frederick, Professor of Drama, has been with Del Mar College since 1988 and Drama Program Coordinator since 1995 He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Corpus Christi State University (now Texas A&M University Corpus Christi) He has been a member of the Texas Educational Theatre Association Adjudicators Organization (TTAO) since 1989 and has judged at the District, Area, Regional and State levels Kim believes strongly in the value of the UIL OAP process and possesses a deep commitment to all levels of educational theatre
