Design Camilla Prytz

ANIMALS are beautiful, handcrafted figures in luxurious and timeless white porcelain, designed by the renowned artist Camilla Prytz. Camilla Prytz has been fascinated by large wild animals ever since she was little, when she loved Pippi and used to draw all the characters from The Jungle Book.

Magnor’s deep woods are like a Norwegian jungle and it is here that Camilla Prytz has let loose her wildest imagination to create her favourite, wildest animals in the finest porcelain. She hopes that ANIMALS’ fine qualities will inspire you, and that the animals will find many happy new homes.

In 2017 she launched ANIMALS Monkey, Tiger and Crocodile for Magnor with inspiration from the jungle. In 2018 she found inspiration from Magnor’s deep forests and created ANIMALS MOOSE - a tribute to the king of the forest, the largest Norwegian animal.

Camilla Prytz

Camilla Prytz is a certified designer and artist who has been creating jewellery and objects in glass, metal and enamel for over 25 years. She has had a wide range of exhibits at home and abroad, and her jewellery has adorned the necks of both princesses and superstars. Her work is inspired by collective symbolism and moves between art, design and fashion. Camilla has always been passionate about old handicrafts and locally produced designs, and now she’s come back to where it all started: glassblowing. She has designed the series Animals, and the art glass series Zebra for Magnor.
