Dimora is an Italian word which conveys the meaning of something more than just a house; it is a homestead, the place where the family gathers together.

The names of the houses at Lodge Lake Dimora are taken from the wildlife which lives around the shores of the lake.

The Whimbrel and Woodlark are both birds; Demoiselles are a family of damselfly and the Lysandra butterfly has lovely spotted wings.
