Course Intro Bolly Active ® is a unique blend of dance fitness, toning, zen & yoga class all rolled into one. Bolly Active ® “The Happy Workout” is a 60 minutes workout cycle alternating between low & high intensity dance fitness & toning sequences to get you moving, sweating & motivated. Created by certified fitness professionals and choreographers from Bombay (aka,Bollywood) with extensive experience in group fitness and Bollywood dancing, Bolly Active ® is the hottest fitness program in town.

Bolly Active is accredited by Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) & National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

At the core of Bolly Active is the inspiration drawn from song & dance of Bollywood, film industry originating in India. Whether you are a complete beginners or a fitness freak, Bolly Active offers a fun fitness experience for all.

Bolly Active ® is an umbrella program that consists of five varied programs namely

This unique cardio and strength based workout is a complete workout for your mind, body & soul. We believe in ‘working out’ & ‘working in’ at the same time! All classes follow a GOD “Groove of the Day” approach, in which the Instructor combines any 2 or 3 programs together to create a class based on the fitness level of the students.

All classes are beginner friendly, as the instructor breaks down each component of the routine & practices with the class before performing it to music. Each class will combine any of the 3 programs and ensures a surprise for students for each class.

Every class is different as it encourages students to push their physical limits and also promotes mental well-being with mediation & yoga. It is a wholesome workout which burns 600 – 1000 calories per class, depending on the student fitness level.

Agenda for the Day We look forward to see you very soon for an action packed training of getting certified as a Bolly Active® Instructor. It is going to be an exciting day and keep your spirits high as you embrace this journey through the magical land of Bollywood. The training will be combining basics of Bollywood dancing and group fitness into a refreshing and energizing format.

The day is divided into six segments, three before lunch break and the remaining in the second half of the day.

As we progress through our intensive nine hour training day, we have scheduled two tea breaks & a lunch break to help you unwind & facilitate networking.
