ARRAK OUTDOOR AB is a Swedish-designed brand established in 1999, with both headquarters and warehouse located in Uddevalla. Since the beginning, our passion has been to combine function, quality, and style in clothing for people who love the outdoors.
The story started with a clear need: there simply weren’t any really good, tailored clothes for dog handlers. This inspired us to create the perfect dog handler jacket. The result was the Arrak Original Jacket, which remains a classic to this day.
Today, Arrak Outdoor has grown and evolved. Our range is no longer exclusively aimed at dog owners but is designed for all types of outdoor activities, from hiking, fishing, and hunting to leisurely walks in nature. All our garments are carefully crafted to offer high quality, practical features, and optimal comfort, no matter the activity.

ORIGINAL JACKET
The Original Jacket from Arrak Outdoor is a highly functional jacket made from durable, high-quality materials.
The jacket has a 10,000 mm waterproof rating and is fully taped, making it well suited for wet conditions. It features an impressive 14 pockets to carry everything you need.
Lightly padded, the jacket is designed for year-round use. The collar is lined with soft teddy fleece for extra comfort. The adjustable hood is detachable, and the reflective details on the sleeves can be folded out when needed. There are also reflective elements on both the front and back for increased visibility. A large rear pocket with zipper provides extra storage. On the front, there are eight pockets, including four hand-warmer pockets lined with microfleece — perfect for cold days. One of the lower pockets includes a removable treat pocket, which can also be attached to a belt and used separately. There is also a dispenser opening for dog waste bags in the lower right front pocket.
The sleeve cuffs feature a knitted inner cuff with thumb holes for added warmth and comfort. The women’s model has a more tailored fit.

ACTIVE STRETCH
Active Stretch trousers are our most popular trousers!
On the knees, knee creases and buttom its 4-way stretch panels which makes the trousers extremely flexible. At the bottom, the trousers are reinforced and with adjustable leg ends and a boot hook, so it fits perfectly around the boot. On both thighs there are openable ventilation holes with mesh behind for perfect ventilation.
The pants are equipped with 5 pockets. One on the back with a zipper, two leg pockets and two thigh pockets with a zipper. The pants are perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities.

MOTION FLEX
Arrak Motion Flex pant is a pant in 4-way stretch fabric for a perfect fit.
From the knees down, it is a waterproof fabric that, for example, protects if you walk in wet terrain.
Hand pockets with zippers. Thigh pockets on the side of the thigh where one also has a pocket with a zipper. Zipper in decision that makes it easier to put on and take off and that you can use this for ventilation. Integrated waist belt.
The pants are made of a stretch fabric of 90% Nylon/10% Spandex and at the bottom of the trousers in 100% Polyester with 3000mm in water column.

Sustainability
Since it was founded in 1999, Arrak Outdoor has cared about nature and the people and animals that live in it. Producing textile products in other countries requires taking responsibility, especially when clothes are manufactured in countries where environmental and labor laws aren’t a central feature.
We are extremely aware of the fact that, together with our suppliers, we must take responsibility to minimize our environmental impact and to be socially responsible.
We set high standards and work together with our suppliers to ensure that we follow the guidelines and regulations that apply. We are on site in the factories as often as we can to make sure that they comply with our joint sustainability policy, and to develop the policy continuously.
Active choices
Arrak loves animals and nature, this is not news to most people. We have actively made the decision not to use materials that come from animals, such as fur.
Social responsibility
At Arrak we work hard to consistently improve the distribution chain of our business. With our carefully selected suppliers we prioritize a long-term relationship. We visit our suppliers as often as we can to be involved on site.
The factories all follow Arrak’s Code of conduct
We also aim for all of our producers to be certified by the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI).
Amfori BSCI’s code contains 11 basic labor rights that the factories commit to implementing, in-house and within their supply chains, using a development strategy. The strategy is implemented step by step.
Factory inspections are carried out by an accredited third party (Social Accountability Accreditation Services, SAAS). Deviations that emerge during a factory inspection must be rectified and followed up on during a second inspection. The accredited third party seeks to constantly improve working conditions.
Principles must be complied with in accordance with BSCI:
- Freedom of association and the right to enter into collective agreements
- Prohibition of discrimination
- Reasonable salaries
- Reasonable working hours
- Health and safety in the workplace

- Special protection for young workers

Chemical Guide
All our suppliers follow REACH or the Swedish Textile Importers’ chemical guide, which has been developed together with Rise.
REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) is EU chemicals legislation. The main objective of the legislation is to protect the environment and human health from the risks of chemicals and to increase the competitiveness and innovation of the EU chemical industry.
RISE is a Swedish state research institute in chemistry-environmental issues for the textile industry, among others. Oeko-tex Most of the material we use in our productions is of Oeko-tex certified material. Oeko-tex is an independent global test and certification system that ensures that the product is free of unhealthy chemicals. This applies to products such as fabrics, sewing thread, zippers, etc.
Washing and care advice
Clothing care
Even if you treat your clothes with care, you still need to wash them from time to time. Follow our recommendations to help your Arrak products last longer. Sometimes, it’s enough to air the clothes, and if you have a small stain, try to wash it off by hand with soap or a liquid detergent. If you still need to wash your clothes, follow the instructions below. Do not use fabric softener – it will cause your clothes to lose its properties and is harmful to the environment. Washing
Follow the instructions on the clothes. Do not use fabric softeners. Arrak recommends detergents that have a built-in hygiene effect and can be used when washing at a low temperature, when washing by hand, and still have a hygienic cleaning effect.
Ironing
If you are going to iron your clothes, follow the instructions on the clothes and do not iron over prints, buttons and zippers.
Impregnation
Feel free to impregnate your clothes on a regular basis. When you impregnate your clothes, they become water-repellent, but that’s not all. Impregnation also protects your clothes from dirt and daily wear and tear, making them last longer! There are several different impregnation techniques for different types of material, and different ways to apply them. If you have any questions, please contact our customer support.
Wash symbols
You’ll find the wash symbols on the clothing item’s care label. It’s important that you follow the instructions to guarantee the quality and durability of your clothes. The wash symbols tell you how the clothes should be ironed, bleached, dried, dry-cleaned and washed.
