Arrak PROMOTION cares deeply about our environment, as well as the people and animals that inhabit it. Producing textile products in other countries carries responsibility, especially in regions where environmental and labor issues may not always be prioritized.
We are fully aware that, together with our suppliers, we must take responsibility to minimize environmental impact and uphold our social responsibilities. We set high standards and work closely with our suppliers to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Whenever possible, we visit factories on-site to ensure adherence to our shared sustainability policy and to help develop it further.
Social Responsibility
At Arrak, we work continuously to improve the supply chain throughout our operations. We carefully select suppliers and prioritize long-term relationships. Regular visits to our suppliers allow us to be actively involved on-site.
All factories comply with Arrak’s Code of Conduct. In addition, we aim for all our producers to be certified by the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI).
The Amfori BSCI Code includes 11 fundamental labor rights, which factories commit to implement throughout their operations and supply chains through a step-by-step development strategy. Factory audits are conducted by an accredited third party (Social Accountability Accreditation Services, SAAS). Any deviations found during audits must be corrected and followed up at subsequent inspections. The goal is to continuously improve working conditions.

All our suppliers comply with REACH or the Swedish Textile Importers’ Chemical Guide, developed in collaboration with RISE. REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals) is the EU’s chemical legislation. Its primary goal is to protect the environment and human health from chemical risks, while promoting competitiveness and innovation in the EU chemical industry.
RISE is a Swedish government research institute specializing in chemistry and environmental issues, including matters related to the textile industry.
Oeko-Tex
The majority of materials we use in our productions are Oeko-Tex certified. Oeko-Tex is an independent, global testing and certification system that ensures products are free from harmful chemicals. This certification applies to products such as fabrics, sewing threads, zippers, and more.
