The journey to home is all about community at Keowee Key, where neighbors become friends and folks enjoy mutual interests through a variety of social clubs. The temperate climate of the Upstate South Carolina region allows residents year-round opportunities to enjoy all the outdoor activities including golf, tennis, pickleball, hiking, biking and walking on the Keowee Key leisure trail. The clear water of Lake Keowee may be a little cold for winter swimming, but residents can enjoy boating, kayaking and canoing even in January and February.

Over 300 players compete on the 14 lighted tennis courts, while the eight pickleball courts are often filled with tournament and recreational play. There are more than 45 fitness classes each week in the Fitness Center which has all the latest equipment and a highly trained staff.

Golfers play on the newly updated 18-hole par 72 course which provides five tee boxes for different skill levels.

Keowee Key is home to active men’s and women’s leagues.
