Human-machine interaction is handled by a new generation 21-inch full HD panel developed with WinCC Unified. The interface provides smooth navigation, modern graphics, and immediate diagnostic tools, enhancing the operator’s user experience. For motion control, the system uses Sinamics S120 drives in book size format, combined with 1FK7 synchronous motors. This combination enables extremely precise control of mechanical axes. A distinctive element of the solution is the use of the regenerative power supply (Active Interface Module), which allows the machine to optimize energy usage: during braking phases, the recovered energy is either used by other axes or fed back into the grid, helping to reduce overall consumption and increase the energy efficiency of the entire system.

Digitalization Techne has also embarked on a digitalization and sustainability journey by leveraging the Siemens Industrial Edge data collection and analysis platform. Machines can collect real-time data from PLCs and drives, processing it through edge computing to generate indicators immediately available to the end user. Enabled features include: - production performance analysis and OEE calculation; - energy consumption monitoring in accordance with ISO 50001; - advanced maintenance management; - automatic notifications in case of alarms or critical events; The Techne roadmap includes the introduction of the Siemens Drivetrain Analyzer tool, based on AI models that analyze motor data (current, torque, and speed) to predict potential mechanical anomalies on axes, thereby reducing unplanned downtime.
