This zine is the culmination of time spent deep in study, imagination, conversation, and community building during Project NIA's summer 2021 Abolitionist Youth Organizing Institute (AYO, NYC!). A group of 60 young people, ages 16-24 spent 7 days learning about prison industrial complex abolition, organizing, and restorative justice. At the close of the institute a smaller group of participants submitted their reflections on PIC abolition and the envisioning of abolitionist futures. This zine includes submissions from S.L, Jaime, Lily Ahluwalia, Liv, Lauren Dotson, Tasfiya, Chris Chen, J.L.S, Kayana J, Trasonia, Kintan Silvany, Akash Singh, Re'Nyqua Farrington, yvetta fordjour, Zenith Jarrett, Prisca, Hedaia, and Safiya; along with graphic notes from Laura Chow Reeve.
