We highly recommend using a digital recorder because sound quality will be much better, which is important when you’re trying to engage and grow your audience.

If you’re just getting started, we recommend something like the Zoom H1n Handy Recorder. It’s relatively affordable and easy to use.

If you’re looking for something with a little more features and flexibility, something like the Tascam DR-60DmkII might be a better option. It has two XLR inputs, so you can connect multiple microphones, and it records to SD cards so you don’t have to worry about running out of space on your hard drive.
