Plan and Approach to Partial Parks and Future Parks
• Progressive Companies as your selected Design-Build Team Partner will complete all park designs, prioritizing our construction activities based on available funding, and delivering improvements in alignment with City Council’s project priorities.
• Concept Plans have been provided in this RFP with the desired design and scopes of work. As stated previously, our Team will fully design and construct the 4 Full Parks and as shown in our RFP Schedule we anticipate construction can be completed late Summer 2026.
• Partial Parks has limited funding and the final Design and Scope will be constructed based on a Plan that the City of Pontiac agrees to that provides the most beneficial use of the parks by residents and guests.
Progressive Companies will partner with the City in delivering cost effective solutions finding more maintenance free, durable and inexpensive equipment that meets the City's standards.
• Progressive Companies will partner with the City of Pontiac in identifying "Future Parks" that require upgrades. We will accomplish this under a separate Fee and Schedule.
• In summary, Progressive Companies has the necessary in house professional staff that will not be impacted by the Full Parks scope of work. Upon the City's notification to proceed on Future Parks we can immediately proceed and deliver any additional services necessary on the Future Parks.
