We are looking forward to providing you with a phenomenal, inspiring, and impactful experience The purpose of the conference is to empower men to reach their God-given potential in every realm of life, becoming the husbands, fathers, leaders, citizens and role models God created them to be.

As a continuation of our overall mission of K.I.N.G, we desire to present to our families, communities, nation and world an image of God-fearing, family-oriented, moral, loving, intelligent, responsible and productive KINGDOM MEN.

This year’s Summit will provide information and inspiration for KINGDOM IMPACT as we encourage and equip men to effectively navigate the world we live in.

Chris Broussard is an internationally-known sports analyst, commentator and broadcaster for the FS1 television network and FOX Sports Radio. He is a co-host for the daily television show “First Things First’’ and can also be seen regularly on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd.’’ In addition to his TV responsibilities, Chris co-hosts the nationally syndicated radio show “The Odd Couple’’ with Rob Parker on weeknights.

Before joining FOX Sports in the Fall of 2016, Chris worked for 12 years as an NBA analyst and reporter at ESPN, ESPN The Magazine, and ESPN.com. In that role, he shared the screen with some of the NBA’s legendary figures, including Magic Johnson, with whom he co-starred on the “KIA NBA Countdown Show.” Chris’ achievements led to his being named one of the 100 Black History Makers of 2012 by Thegrio.com, the African-American news arm of NBC at the time. He wrote for The New York Times from 1998-2004, The Akron Beacon-Journal from 1994-1998, and The Cleveland Plain Dealer from 1990-1994. Chris graduated from Oberlin College with a Bachelor’s Degree in English in 1990.

A Board member for Athletes in Action, Chris is a frequent speaker at colleges, high schools, charitable fundraisers, youth-related events, and churches. He’s addressed congregations as varied as Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Charismatic, Catholic and Congregational. Chris has taught seminars on the Biblical heritage of African people and was featured prominently in the groundbreaking documentary "Unspoken,'' which reveals ancient Africa's substantial Christian history. Chris also co-authored and co-hosted "Share The Dream,'' a book and video project that promotes racial unity and reconciliation through the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Chris has adult twin daughters and lives with his wife of nearly 30 years in New Jersey.

Dr. R. A. Vernon is the founder and senior pastor of The Word Church and has enjoyed a prolific career as a faith leader in the city of Cleveland. However, the influence of his mission and message transcends geographical boundaries as he inspires audiences around the nation through social and digital media. Dr. Vernon is also the co-founder of The Vernon Family Foundation and R. A. Vernon Ministries, two organizations that aim to empower people through education, outreach, and personal development.

Dr. Vernon understands the value of mentorship, and founded The Shepherds Connection, a group of some 200 senior pastors and their spouses from around the nation to whom he provides strategic leadership, counsel on pastoral and personal matters, and ministry development. He is the author of several books including his newest work, “Dr. R. A. Vernon’s 10 Rules of Dating: The Rules Have Changed.”

Dr. Vernon has a Diploma of Theology with a concentration in Black Church Studies, a Master of Arts in Practical Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry with a concentration in church growth, all from Ashland Theological Seminary. He is married to Victory Vernon, and they have five children.
