PRODUCTION CENTER AND A HAPPY LIVING COMMUNITY Program Metal Products (Zhuhai) Co. Ltd is located in the Gaolan Port Economic Zone, occupying a site area of 60,000 m2. Main production lines include Metalwork, Structural Steelwork, Powder Coating, Vitreous Enamel and Aluminum Formwork. Workshops are equipped with advanced machines allowing us to achieve fabrication efficiency and quality.

In the office building, multifunctional conference rooms and offices are reserved for clients and our project teams to work in. Clients are welcome to visit our product showroom to learn about our metalwork capability and quality.

We believe that employees are the pillars of the company. We always prioritize their health and motivation. Apart from recreational activities, PCL developed a staff dormitory building where employees and their family can enjoy the amenities for living and leisure.

METALWORK PRODUCTION LINE Our workshops are designed for a wide variety of metalwork fabrication catering to the needs from construction and building industry. Ranging from balustrade, architectural feature metalwork, to bus shelters – we transform materials into components, products, and even art masterpieces.

STRUCTURAL STEELWORK PRODUCTION LINE PCL is an approved Specialist Supplier in the stream of Structural Steel works with the Works Branch of HKSAR Government. We work closely with certified hot-dip galvanizing companies to ensure high quality standards can be achieved. Robotic welding machines are utilized to maintain weld efficiency, accuracy and quality consistency. In addition, our welder workforce holds licenses issued by HOKLAS testing surveyors and our factory holds the Certificate of Compliance to EN1090 international welding standard.

VITREOUS ENAMEL PRODUCTION LINE With its experience in establishing and operating the first architectural vitreous enamel production line in China, PCL developed its biggest latest production line in Zhuhai. The vitreous enamel furnace is fully automatic with sophisticated design to ensure that production process is under stringent quality control. In 2003, VETOPÂŽ became the first vitreous enamel architectural product ever to be awarded with the Hong Kong Q-Mark Product Scheme License.

POWDER COATING PRODUCTION LINE Powder coating provides fire-rated properties complying with BS476 fire standards, enabling safe use of our finished products indoor and outdoor that fully complied with statutory requirement in various countries. PCL is an approved applicator of two internationally recognized powder coating systems - Dupont, Alesta & Orica, Dulux.

Pre-treatment

Pre-treatment system is under stringent control in accordance with the requirement to ensure every vitreous enamel product is completely free from contamination before applying VE coating.

Vitreous Enamel

VETOP® strives with all its might to be the industry leader in vitreous enamel panel production. Our dedicated team of engineering professionals and managers ensure product durability, reliability and quality to meet International Standards. All VETOP® vitreous enamel products are subjected to a series of rigorous quality assurance procedures to maintain high-level consistency.

Since 2003, “VETOP” was awarded with the Licence of Hong Kong Q-Mark Product Scheme.

Enameling

Every vitreous enamel panel is tested in accordance with the preapproved inspection and test plan to ensure all critical parameters are fulfilled and to the satisfaction of customers’ requirement and industrial standards, eg. coating thickness, finishing and color matching.

Lab Test

Three finished samples are selected and tested from each production order in compliance with BS, JIS or PRC Standards, to ensure the quality maintains consistency and its performance in the project environment.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS The vitreous enamel furnace is fully automatic with sophisticated design to ensure the production process fulfills quality control. Our in-house designers and technical engineers work together with the finest attention to specifications and industry standards.

Computer-Aided Design

Working drawings are created in strict accordance with the customer’s specifications.

Laser Cutting

Steel sheets are laser cut to shape through digitized information from the working drawings.

Bending

A press brake is used to bend the steel sheets to create the required features (returns, flanges, etc.).

Welding & Grinding

The profile of the steel sheet is completed by welding and grinding the corners.

Pre-treatment

The panel goes through a chemical process for contamination removal and provision of an etched surface for receiving the enamel.

Ground Coat

A ground coat of vitreous enamel is applied to the surface of the panel.

Drying

The ground coat is dried at 100oC-250oC leaving the enamel in a bisque unglazed form on the steel.

Firing

The panel is preheated to 400oC and is passed to the furnace where fusing of the vitreus enamel onto the steel takes place at approximately 800oC.

Top Coats

Color coats are then applied to the enamel panel. Normally 2 coats will be applied unless specified otherwise.

Drying

The drying process is repeated.

Firing

Every colour coat is heated to approximately 800oC onto the steel surface.

Backing

The strength, thermal and fire resistance properties are achieved by bonding various substrates to the panel after having passed through an adhesive curtain coater.

Finished Panels

Before packing and shipping, all panels undergo final inspection processes.

With its comprehensive portfolio of aluminum profile extrusions, ProMold strikes to make the best design to achieve efficient erection of high-rise residential, hotel, office or commercial building.

Aluminum formwork is a pre-designed and engineered monolithic system, custom-made to each project. Formworks are manufactured and installed in our factory before delivery to construction site. We place importance on the factory mockup installation which allows quality inspection by designers, main contractor, developer and most importantly the formwork contractor – for the benefit of site installation.

ProMoldTM Aluminum Formwork System Characteristics Aluminum formwork is a reliable and easy-to-use system in lieu of timber formwork. The whole system comprises the following 4 parts:

Panel System Standard panels are of rectangular/square-shaped used for slab and wall; Irregular panels are those beyond regular quadrilaterals, requiring custom-formation. They are used for staircase, slab/wall corners etc.

Support System Support system includes various types of posts/props catering to all kinds of roofs, beams, and cantilevered structures, to ensure panels on position solidly.

Reinforcement System Square or rectangular hollow sections are usually used as a reinforcement waler to prevent breakage from over-loading, to keep walls straight, and to guarantee accuracy in formwork dimensions.

Connection System The wedge insert and cylindrical bolt ensure total integrity in interlocking panels. They are installed and removed easily with a hammer.
