GROUP ENROLLMENT GUIDE FOR GROUP LEADERS GETTING STARTED

To add members of your team to the HBS Online (formerly HBX) course platform, there are a few simple but critical steps you and your team members must take, which we’ve detailed below.

Final enrollment list due as Excel file: October 4, 2019

•

Team members’ final enrollment deadline: October 9, 2019

•

Course start: October 16, 2019

•

Course end: November 13, 2019

•

Access end date (usually 60 days post course end): Sunday, January 5, 2020

•

Course certificates mailed: ~3 months after course completion

1. Once the group enrollment agreement is signed, we can initiate the enrollment and invoicing process. As part of the agreement, you’ll be asked to review and agree to the following HBS Online policies: a. HBS Online Terms of Use b. HBS Online Privacy Policy c. HBS Online Community Values 2. Share the names and contact information of team members you’ve selected to participate in the CSML course in the attached Excel file.

3. Confirm accuracy of names, email addresses, and contact numbers contained in this Excel file. Incorrect information may inhibit users from accessing the course platform. Please note that team members should not submit an application, and admissions review will not be required given the group enrollment agreement. This file must be finalized and submitted no later than October 4.

4. We will create individual user accounts for each team member in the HBS Online platform using the email you provided in the Excel file. Please note there will be no opportunity to change or remove users after you have submitted your final participant list.

5. Team members will receive an Enrollment Invitation Email to the email address you provided. This email contains a link to set up their HBS Online account and to complete the enrollment process.

GROUP ENROLLMENT GUIDE FOR GROUP LEADERS 6. Your team members must access the Enrollment Invitation Email, and complete the Team Member Enrollment Process (detailed below) no later than October 9th. Those team members who do not complete the enrollment process by October 9th will not be guaranteed participation in the course. Please ensure your team members meet this deadline.

7. Should your team members require assistance during the enrollment process, they may email hbsonlinesupport@hbs.edu directly for support. Additionally, it is extremely helpful for your organization to share the Group Enrollment Guide for Team Members before the enrollment deadline (accompanying this guide in your email).

8. Once the course begins on October 16, 2019, users will be required to meet the following criteria in order to earn a certificate of completion for Leading Schools: A CSML Course. a. Participate in the course for 4 weeks, with a time commitment of about 5 hours per week. b. Complete all weekly assignments detailed on the course platform on time.
