Her work takes its inspiration from vintage fashion styles and icons.

10 BANDS. 2 NIGHTS. 1 AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

MUSIC PRIZE TURNS 9! Music Prize began in 2013, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than continuing to bring local, regional, and national musicians to the stage once more in a fantastic, beautiful way that downtown Shreveport hasn’t seen in decades. By attending Music Prize, you are a making local (and indie) music history!

The group’s diverse musical backgrounds and influences come together on the record to make for a dynamic musical experience and emotional journey, which lead to the band being named one of BuzzMusic LA’s Top 10 acts of 2019.

Lance Thompson

Lance has been building his career as a pop artist since 2016. Influenced by his faith, family, and life experiences, he aspires to perform music that speaks to and inspires fans across the world. His signature style has become synonymous with a diverse collection of melodies and compositions.

Natalie Price

Described by Texas Music Magazine as “one of Austin’s most dynamic new singer-songwriters,” Natalie’s ethereal, one-of-a-kind sound refuses to fall neatly into one category. Just as comfortable dabbling in Americana or folk as she is indie-pop, Price’s music is perhaps best encapsulated by its deep-seated humanity.

Been Stellar

Combining punk roots with a fascination in Beat and Lost Generation literature, Been Stellar play stylish, confrontational indie rock. Coming from all around the globe and residing in the Lower East Side and Bushwick, the 5 piece share their honest account of a city saturated with aging cultural touchstones.

20 SHORT FILMS. ONE $25,000 CASH PRIZE.

Film Prize Turns 10! Founded in 2012, the Louisiana Film Prize has emerged as a festival that champions and elevates filmmaker talent from across the world. Each year, hundreds of people come to Northwest Louisiana to participate in Film Prize projects, but only twenty films are selected to compete for the grand prize — $25,000 — the largest cash prize for a short film of any festival in the world!

VOTING for the Film Prize Winner In order to vote, you must have a Festival Pass and you must see all 20 short films. The 20 films are divided into 2 programs of 10 films each. These programs are “Orange Slate” and “Teal Slate.” Once you have seen one slate of films (you choose either slate to start), get your Festival Pass punched by an usher immediately after the screening and before you leave the venue. You must have been present at the venue for the entire screening. No late entries will be permitted and those leaving early will not be allowed to have their pass punched. A brief intermission will accompany each slate after the first five films have been shown for nature calls and concession purchases. After you have seen both slates and you have had your pass punched, you may cast your ballot at an Official Film Prize Ballot Station. One person. One ballot. One vote. All Louisiana Film Prize ballot results are tallied and certified by RBM, LLP Certified Public Accountants in Shreveport, an independent auditing firm.
