My debut novel ‘It Is I’ is a psychological thriller based on the concept of Dissociative Identity Disorder. I've also got a few of my poems published in the form of Poetards (poetry in postcards) called ‘Emotive Expressions’. ‘Underneath The Scars’ - a collection of my poems is going to be available soon.

3. How do you wish to inspire the Woman Community?
As a woman, I understand the challenges my sisters face and all I would like to do is inspire them by example. I try my level best to bring about change and I feel that my victories over trials and tribulations are the best ways to prove that as women we can do and be anything we want to.

4.WhatdoesthewordSHEROES meantoyou?
SHEROES are women who just never give up. They continue to shine even though they’ve had to live through some of the most difficult times.
5.Whathasbeenyourbiggest obstaclebeingaWoman?
The biggest obstacle has been to prove that I can do just as well as the men. I can work equally long hours and still balance my work and home.

6. Isiteasybeinga Woman?Orweneed tofacepartialityin termsofupliftingour profession/passion.
No. It’s not easy being a woman. We’re expected to take care of everything. And yes, we need to work extra to prove our worth. According to societal stereotypes, women are basically considered ‘homemakers’ so, it does take a lot of effort to prove that we’re equally good when it comes to our profession/passion.
8. Define WOMANHOOD in one word. Womanhood for me means ‘Resilience’.
‘THEREISNOFORCEMOREPOWERFULTHAN A WOMAN DETERMINED TO RISE.’ ~ W.E.B. DUBOIS
7. Include a story/paragraph of Womanhood which would inspire your readers while reading your interview.
I think the best story would be my own. I suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder, Clinical Anxiety and Depression. But I don’t let these ailments define me. I continue to fight these demons everyday. I’m undergoing therapy and am on medication to help me cope. There was a phase when I closed myself off from the world because I was ashamed of my ‘disabilities’. But not anymore. I want to speak about my problems to help bring about awareness and also to help normalise these issues. Remember - You are not the problem. The problem is ‘THE PROBLEM’.

9. How do you feel being the Cover Star of SHEROES?
The Inspiring Women Community is a platform that truly uplifts women from all around the globe and to be the Cover Star of SHEROESit’s unbelievable! I’m honoured and humbled at the same time.
