Being a small town girl , (hailing from Hindmotor , Hooghly district , West Bengal), I have always learnt to optimize my necessities in life . I have always led superbly simplified life, devoid of any luxuries. My father is a retired banker and my mother is a home maker. My mother was a gymnastic enthusiast, and my sole inspiration in pursuing Yoga on a serious note. I did my graduation with an honours in Mathematics , from Lady Brabourne College , Kolkata, and my Masters in Mathematics and Computing from IIT-ISM Dhanbad.

I joined Indian Bank as Probationary Officer in April 2017 , later I had to resign and then I joined ECGC Ltd. (Formerly Export Credit Guarantee Corporation Of India Ltd.), under the Ministry Of Commerce, Government of India. Currently I am posted as an Assistant Manager in the HR Department , Head Office, Mumbai. I am married now. My husband Shri Ranajoy Guha Neogi is working as Manager , in Reserve Bank of India. My father in law is a retired banker too, and my mother in law is a retired school teacher.

What does your name TRINA means?

The word, ‘Trina’ means Pure, Clear; Innocent; Goddess Parvati; Good; Pleasing; It is derived from a Bengali word “Trino”, which means a particular Grass that is, Cynodon dactylon, which is used in any Pujas

2. "Womanhood is a blessing" - what has been your inspiring journey being a woman?

I am a very ordinary girl, so I donot think I can be a source of inspiration to anybody. But yes, I am blessed to get so many wonder women in my life, who, in some way or the other, has constantly inspired me in my journey. Starting from my mother, to my teachers (I mean, my Madams) in my student life, my female colleagues in my professional life, and every single woman I meet every now and then, provide me a lesson in life, every second I feel I am so blessed.

4. What does the word ASPIRING ACHIEVERS means to you?

It simply means chasing your target / dreams and try hard to enjoy that journey. Result might be anything, but the experience should gain you ample knowledge.

5. What has been your biggest obstacle being a Woman?

Women have a natural tendency to work as per mind, which indeed makes a woman weak. It is suggested to work as per situation, not by emotion. Often I feel, I am emotionally weak in certain situations , for example , when it comes to family, I get nervous often. This is a common genre of women , I suppose. But at the same time, I again feel, this makes a Woman , the most beautiful creation of the Almighty God too.

6. Include a story/paragraph of Womanhood which would inspire your readers while reading your interview.

It is mandatory for all women , to keep a hobby/passion for themselves. Those who are not in service or in work, they are tagged as “Home Makers” in our so called Elite Society. But I strongly feel, that those “home makers” should also chase their dreams too. They have the right to breathe too, why should they not have any passion? Any hobby /passion will help them rejuvenate and rediscover their minds every day. So donot just segregate yourself as you are not working. When you are working on your hobbies, I passionately feel, you are a lady at service too. Any creation of yours will definitely add to the betterment and beautification of our Society

7. Is it easy being a Woman? Or we need to face partiality in terms of uplifting our profession/passion.

Definitely it is not easy , but the difficulties can be ignored/ minimized, if we have the capacity to ignore. It sounds weird, I know! But I am a person who believes to work silently, without any noise. So, I prefer to work silently and reach my goal; rather than pleading or protesting for equalities. This is completely my personal view. I am blessed that my husband is super supportive . He always boosts my confidence in daily work. In my service sector, it is my experience, that silently working on your targets actually helps. It creates your signature automatically. You need not give any extra effort to fight against partiality.

8. How do you feel being the Cover Star of ASPIRING ACHIEVERS? Write a inspiring Quote which every woman can connect with.

I have been long associated with PWP team, Priyasi Madam has always been my inspiration. Being the Cover Star in itself is a divine experience. It is again a strong boost to my confidence to work for the betterment of my society through the nominal work possible for me to do. For an ordinary girl like me, it is something beyond the conventional definition of “Dream”, to get featured as the Cover Star. So Thanks to the entire team of PWP . To my lovely ladies, just I would like to share one message which I would quote from one film named ‘Anand’ (I am a Rajesh Khanna fan too!), “ बाब

We have just one life, We must be grateful to the God that we are still surviving after the COVID Pandemic trauma. Life is with us, and today is the time we have in our hand, so let us perform whatever we can, donot regret about the past , never overthink about the future, just act in the living present. Stay fit, stay healthy, and always remember, that smiling face wins the ultimate trophy !!

Cannes2023 Urvashi Rautela

Urvashi Rautela has been the most visible Indian celebrity at Cannes this year, walking the red carpet four times so far; and there's really no polite way to say iteach time has been progressively worse, fashion-wise. Last night, at the screening of the film Club Zero, Urvashi showed up in what was less an outfit and more a costume. Her look consisted of a form-fitting green gown seemingly made of feathers with trailing sleeve attachments that she tossed up on the red carpet. A matching green feathered cap finished the outfit and not in a good way.

The descending fashion trajectory of Urvashi Rautela's second year at Cannes is evident in a glance at her previous red carpet looks. Look number one was a hot pink ruffled Sima Couture gown with a Cartier necklace in the shape of two crocodiles.
