To quote we will require your box style, internal dimensions, preferred board grade and quantity required.

Common Corrugated Board Grades

B-Flute (approx. 3mm thick): This is a very robust flute, offering compactness for minimising storage space. It provides a good printing surface and is most often used for die-cut boxes, canned goods and displays.

C-Flute (approx. 4mm thick): The most widely used flute size, commonly used for shipping cartons. It offers good crushing resistance, good stacking strength, and highly acceptable printing properties.

E-Flute (approx. 1.2mm thick): It gives an excellent crush resistance and compression strength. It provides a high quality surface to print upon and is most commonly used in smaller cartons and die-cuts applications (cosmetics boxes, glass and ceramic boxes, pizza boxes).

BC-Flute (approx. 6mm thick): This is a combination of C-flute on the inside and B-flute on the outside. This type of flute is most commonly used in shipping cartons for higher levels of content protection.

Common Box Styles

Regular Slotted Carton (RSC) - This is the most common box style – a standard shipping box, where the flaps fold down and meet in the middle.

Full Flap Slotted Carton (FFSC) - A standard shipping carton where the top and bottom flaps overlap each other. Offers more strength for heavy objects and provides more rigidity to minimize flex.

Corner Cut Folder Boxes (CCF) – Corner Cut or One panel folders are often used as corrugated mailers for books, as they are handy for shipping relatively flat objects.

Half Slotted Carton (HSC) – A standard box with no flaps (open) on top.

Full Flap Five Panel Folder (FF5PF) – A Five Panel Folder actually resembles a shallow-depth box when assembled. It is a one-piece box with an over-lapping top and over-lapping end panels.

Roll End tray with Locking Cover (Die Cut) - Formed from a single piece of corrugated board on a die cutter, this design features an unbroken bottom, several layers of corrugated in the end panels and a locking cover.

The 3M TCQ applicator is a tough and robust hot melt applicator. It is industrial grade, which means, it can be left on all day without worrying about burn out. The nozzle contains a ball bearing which controls flow and prevents excessive dripping and stringing on the job. The applicator utilises the 3M quad rack system which makes gunning the adhesive easier than standard13mm stick systems.
