Noted psychologist Albert Bandura, defined “Self-E cacy”, as the belief in oneself to succeed. This characteristic is critical in one’s motivation and resilience. Successful people believe their e orts will be successful and that catalyzes their perseverance.

Some strategies to improve self-e cacy include:

1. Focus on increasing experience in the area of interest to improve competence.

2. Observe positive role models and learn from their experiences.

3. Engage in positive a rmation, and accept positive feedback from others.

4. Manage and mitigate self-doubt through mindfulness, or meditation practices.
