The mission of the La Mesa branch, stated by Branch Manager, Ernesto Hernandez, Jr. is to focus on customers and listening to their individual needs. Once known, the team can make recommendations that serve their customers well. By building those relationships, the La Mesa branch funded over $10 million in loans within 6 months to members of the La Mesa community. The La Mesa branch employs 8 people who are skilled, focused on providing excellent customer service, poised and ready to serve! This award is proof that the La Mesa team do that every day. It is important to note that the La Mesa branch has only been operating for a short period of time in their newly constructed location, which makes this award even more significant. Ernesto has 19 years of service with Union Bank and was relocated from the Chula Vista branch to manage our La Mesa office.
