How to Resolve – The cartridge cannot be used until you enroll in HP Instant Ink. To re-establish the connection between your HP Instant Ink subscription and your printer, follow these simple steps:

Step : 1 Sign in to your HP Instant Ink account.

When you signed up for HP Instant Ink, HP created an account for you that associates your printer with a subscription. This account can be accessed at https://hpconnected.com.

You’ll need to use the email address and password you used to set up the subscription to log in.

If you can’t remember your password, go to the login page and click forgot your username or password?

Then enter your email address. HP will send you an email with instructions on how to reset your password.

Step 2 : Manage your subscription.

When you log in, your screen should look something like this (this is one of our printers. Your account page will show your printer details) Click on the “Manage Subscription” button.

On the subscription page, in the upper right corner, you should see: If your printer is turned on and connected to Wi-Fi, this status will change after a short delay to show that it is connected, as well as the current date and time.

If you look at your printer’s display now, you should see that it is once again registered with HP Instant Ink. That’s all! You should be able to print again now.

Is it still not working?

You MUST have an active subscription to the Instant Ink service in order to use HP supplied cartridges. You will not be able to use your cartridges if the card you provided when signing up for the service has expired or if you have cancelled the service. Your subscription only allows you to use the ink that you have paid for : if you stop paying for the service, the cartridges will no longer work after the current month’s billing cycle ends. you cancel your subscription, you must replace the HP provided cartridges with new printer cartridges purchased from a retailer.
