Call to Worship
God you are our Creator, our Source; we are made in your image. We belong to you, and we praise you. Christ, you are our companion and our leader; we are your Body. We belong to you, and we thank you. Holy Spirit, you guide us and empower us; we are vessels of your grace. We belong to you, and we serve you. Holy God, in praise and devotion we worship you. Alleluia!

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing
UMH #400
Prayer of Confession Creator God, we confess that we have sinned against you. We have not placed you at the center of our lives, or at the center of our hearts and minds. We have become distracted by the frenzied and chaotic ways of the world. We have turned away from the reminders of your presence among us, neglecting your nudges to love our neighbors and conveniently forgetting that you speak to us through our hearts, minds, and consciences to guide us in our decision making. We come seeking forgiveness, mercy, healing, and renewal for our individual and communal sins alike. silence for prayer
Words of Assurance
Hear the Good News: the God of our ancestors, of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, is generous and merciful. Nothing can separate us from God's love or limit God's extravagant grace. In the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit, you are forgiven! In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven! Thanks be to God! Alleluia! Amen.
