Prayers for those who are without homes. Prayers for those struggling with their physical and mental health. Prayers for all those affected by the government’s temporary closure. Prayers for those around the world, but especially in Gaza experiencing hardship, food insecurity, and famine. May we share what we have in plenty for those who do not have nearly enough. Prayers for those being targeted for where they may be from. May they be treated with dignity and kindness. Prayers for people in all places in war.

The October Special Communion Offering goes to the World Communion Sunday with the United Methodist Church. The UMC funds go directly to educational initiatives dedicated to helping students of color, and training for worldwide inclusion.

The next concert in the Altamura Legacy Concert series will be held Sunday, Oct. 5 at 4 pm in the Sanford Davis room, with a preconcert and coffee bar held at 3:30pm.
