Prayer of Confession

Our tears cannot stop, God of shalom. War, bullying, violence are real in our world. We are afraid, and we don't know what to do. Make us lion-hearted, roaring at the acts of violence around us.

Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.

Our anger is big, God of shalom. We've been hurt. Our loved ones have been hurt. Sometimes we know who causes the hurt. Sometimes we don't. Sometimes we are the ones who hurt others.

Grant us mercy, calling to those who hurt others, reminding everyone you created us for life not death.

Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.

We are uncertain, God of shalom. We try to do good things, but it doesn't always work. Sometimes people stand in our way and make it hard to do what's right. Sometimes we stand in the way of others.

Make us plowshares, planting seeds of peace everywhere we go.

Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give our thanks and praise. . . . And so with your people on earth and all the company of heaven, we praise your name and join their unending hymn: Holy, holy, holy, Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come; your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Prayer After Receiving Eternal God, we give you thanks for this holy mystery in which you have given yourself to us. Grant that we may go into the world in the strength of your Spirit, to give ourselves for others, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Arm in Arm Special Communion Offering

This Sunday, we'll take up a special offering to support the vital ministries of Arm in Arm, formerly called The Crisis Ministry of Trenton and Princeton. Easter Egg Hunt for All Ages

April 9 | 11:30 am

Princeton and Kingston UMCs are partnering together for an Easter Egg Hunt! There will be music led by Tom Shelton, crafts for all ages (Yes! Even grown-ups!), coffee and snacks, and of course a search for eggs!

Lenten Book Study Group

Sundays in Lent | 9:15 am

Join us, this season of Lent, as we read and discuss Forgiveness, the Passionate Journey by Flora Slosson Wuellner. Led by KUMC congregant and Princeton Theological Seminary professor Fred Simmons, the group will run from 9:15 am-10 am on Sunday mornings through April 10th. Here is the Zoom link to join. Holy Week Labyrinth Hosts Needed

April 11-15

During Holy Week, PUMC's Sanford Davis Room and Chapel will be open for prayer, meditation and use of our floor labyrinth. In order to offer this sacred space to the community, we need volunteers to oversee the space. All Ages Invited to VBS This Summer

There is something for everyone at our second annual community-wide VBS! This year, we'll gather at Mt. Pisgah AME Church to eat, worship, and learn about God's teachings of compassion.
