During this time of health care uncertainty, as more Bronx residents risk losing coverage, VIP Community Services remains a lifeline, providing high-quality, compassionate care to all. Meeting rising uncompensated care costs requires ongoing community support and partnership.

Recognized by the federal government as Advancing HIT for Quality, Improving Healthcare Access, High-Value Care, and Preventive Care.

In the Bronx, where elevated rates of chronic disease acutely impact residents, quality care isn’t optional. It’s essential.

VIP’S IMPACT IN NUMBERS Mobile Medication Unit delivered 4,292 medication dispensing services to individuals with opioid use disorder.

The OTP delivered 444,756 medication dispensing services to individuals with opioid use disorder.

Sheltered 4,150 individuals with 11% successfully transitioning to permanent housing with 0% recidivism.

Delivered care across 40,982 visits via the CCBHC and FQHC programs.

73% of patients with hypertension had their blood pressure under control.

84% of patients with diabetes had their diabetes controlled.

97% of patients received screening and cessation counseling for tobacco and alcohol use.

98% of patients across the age spectrum received screening for depression and a follow-up plan.

78% of established HIV-positive patients achieved viral load suppression.

Provided 1,869 vaccines in partnership with community organizations.

Expanded our school-based mental health clinic program to five additional Bronx schools.

Hosted 485 job training workshops and conducted 662 individual client training courses.
