We do a ton of embryo transfer – ask Dr. Mimms – and we know that the ET process can be tricky and expensive if you do not have the proper resources and tools in place. We want you to succeed with embryos that you purchase from us; so in an effort to simplify the process and expedite progress for everyone involved, we offer the following options and warranties:

CONCEPTION RATE GUARANTEE – If you purchase more than two embryos from us, we’ll guarantee you no less than one confirmed 90-day pregnancy. If you purchase more than nine embryos, we’ll guarantee a conception rate of no less than 50% on the group. Be sure to approve your embryo technician with us before you implant the embryos. This guarantee is void after 18 months from the sale date. Embryos or semen not claimed or transferred within this time period may be resold.

EMBRYO IMPLANTATION OPTION – If you like, we’ll implant your embryos for you. You purchase the embryos and tell us when you want your calves to arrive. Then, we’ll implant your embryos, manage the recipients, and ship you the confirmed pregnant recipients. Twenty years. My, don’t they go by in a blink. It seems like just last year that we fired up in Eastland with a litter of full sisters to Chill 602G, among other notables, and some of the first-ever embryos sold at auction. Damian Rangel drove from Mission, TX, to be there. And, like so many others, he is still buying cows and eggs today.

Jimmy James, Altus, OK, was there and was a huge part of the genesis of this 20-year partnership. Jimmy will be with us in Hereford again this year, his children grown and helping with his business. Macie Zuber was still Macie Mimms and, in fact, was just a toddler two decades ago. Jett Hale did not even exist. The movie screen had more panels, and we were just starting to understand the TH gene.

Yes, a lot has changed since we began sharing the future 20 years ago, but a lot has remained the same. From the onset, the partners at Donors Unlimited have always been committed to offering the very best cattle we can offer at the fairest prices and standing behind them as much as possible. Over 20 years of Donors Unlimited we have mourned the passing of many memorable cows but also friends and partners like Stanley Stout, Dwight Gleghorn, Don Boysel, Nick Reimann, Logan Rau, Brent Beitlespacher, Champ Davis, and more. We remember them fondly and, in many cases, their cattle and their ways live on through the legacies created at Donors Unlimited. In some ways this event is bigger than all of us. Small transactions made in Hereford have been the catalyst for life-changing moments and friendships without expiration. This cow has been the real deal all her life and now she just gets better and more valuable. Her calves in the 2024 Mimms Calf Sale posted these stats: 6 steers averaged $10,675 and a pair of heifers averaged $10,000.

She has been a power producer since she entered production with her first two steers to sell bringing $17,500 and $8,000 in 2021 plus six head averaged $11,017 in 2022 with a top of $27,500 by Red Elephant.
