Housing: We can house your bulls until turn out time if you would like. We will charge you our cost to care for them and bulls must be insured if you leave them in our care. Bulls must be paid for like normal and you must take delivery by mid April.

Semen Interest: Unless otherwise stated here or from the auction stand, Cardinal Cattle Company retains a one-third semen interest in each bull selling.

Hauling: Nationwide delivery is available.

We will make every effort to meet rides and minimize hauling stress and expense as much as possible. Please ask for details.

Health: Cattle will be eligible for interstate shipment.

This is an impressive crop of bulls, the best from our 2024 calving season; we have held none of the top end back. It was a good fall for raising calves around here, and these bulls have been healthy and performed very well with no soundness or function issues, and we feel confident in each bull’s abilities to make progress in your herd; many are ahead of schedule development wise.

Cardinal cattle are multi-trait, balanced cattle. We push for excellence in all areas, but one trait we stress and one that often gets overlooked elsewhere but is more important now than ever: LONGEVITY. We have focused on our cows that

produce the best natural calves for the longest duration as long as we have been in business, and it shows in our cattle and our customer feedback. Take Lot 1 for example. His sire covered cows here until his 13th birthday with top quality each time.

Wow, a real stud from the first crop by Revelation 2K, a bull we think will change the breed! Our first offering of Revelation sons has much to enjoy and this is one we think needs special consideration. His dam has been a mainstay of quality at Cardinal with great products like the $44,000 True North son now working for Baty Livestock, CO, and known as Cardinal On the Map, plus more bulls like a $12,000 Broker son working for SB Cattle, IL, and a first daughter whose first calf by True North recently sold for $8,000 to Gruhn Cattle, IA, in our 2024 female lineup.

He is a product of what might be our best Simmental pedigree. His second dam, Victoria’s Secret 801Z was a foundation performer for us that we lost too soon but not before she could create a trail of success. Everything from her sold well including a $10,000 first son to Keene Farms, WI, and a smokin’ daughter by Profit to Bloomberg Cattle, IL, plus every other calf selling well to post a strong lifetime average of just over $10,000 per calf. The only heifer we were able to retain is the mother to this bull and she has been remarkable.

This version from her is hard to fault and very unique for a purebred. He is cleaner chested and sharper headed, shorter backed and bigger bodied, wider and deeper but still mobile and exciting. A next generation leader. He can do it and he is not alone.
