基督教家庭服務中心 基督教家庭服務中心(CFSC)為 香 港一間致力支援及促 進家庭 功能 的社會服務機 構，自19 5 4年創立以 來，一直為東九龍區居民提供不同類 型服務。六十多年來，因應社會的改 變與需要，本會不斷更新原有服務， 同時亦拓展新的工作方向。迄今，本 會已發展 成為一間多元化的社會服 務 機 構，涵 蓋 多 個 服務 範 疇，包括 : 兒童及家庭服務、青年服務、長者照 顧服務、50+悅齡服務、殘疾人士綜 合服務、殘疾人士發展及共融、精神 健康服務、醫療健康服務、社區發展 服務、環保及綠色生活、僱員服務顧 問、全人發展及專業培訓等。本會透

Over the years, the Agency's work gradually extended and it has now developed into a multi-service agency, with the mission to support and enhance family functioning and to foster an environment for growth and change. Through ten core services, 70 plus service units and various innovative projects, we strive to achieve our mission with diversified quality services. We share a stake in building a friendly community, a fair society and most of all in preserving a sustainable environment.

Active Ageing Services

Active Ageing Services provide a spectrum of community support services for retirees and older persons including consultation, referral, supportive counselling, outreach, interest development, learning, participation and voluntary service, etc. with an aim to keep the older persons healthy and active, and to live a prosperous and fulfilled life. The service is committed to work jointly with various partners and organisations to develop more innovative services so as to create more opportunities for participation and utilising their potentials. The service also promotes the spirit of care and respect for older persons, and contributes to the building of an age-friendly community.

50+悅齡服務 5 0 + 悅 齡服務為 準 / 退休人士 及 長者提 供 多項 社 區 支 援 服 務，包 括諮詢、轉介、輔導、外展支援有需 要長者、興 趣 活動、學習、義務工作 等，讓長者保持健康活躍生活，積極 樂頤年。同時致力與不同團體合作， 推出創 新服務以 提 升 5 0 +人士參 與 社 區及發揮潛 能 的 機 會；並 積 極 推 動敬老愛老精神，建立「長者友善社 區」。

5 0+我最喜愛品牌選舉自2012 年 在 英國倫敦舉行，由5 0 歲 或以 上 人士一人一票選出心中最愛品牌，為 日漸發展的銀髮市場注入新動力。

The 50+ Award was established in 2012 (London, UK). The Award is based on voter (people aged 50 or above) ratings, to find the absolute best of the best products/services for the emerging silver hair market.

香 港與世界 其他已發展國家一 樣，人均壽命正不斷增加。雖然50歲 或以上人士(50+)的數目不斷上升， 但相應的產品及 服務卻未受到應有 的重視。銀髮市場無論在市場容量、 產品多樣性、服務選項等等都未能追 上人口的增幅。 有見及 此，H K5 0 +我 最喜愛品 牌選舉的舉行正 好回應 銀髮市場的 需要，並建立一個全新平台讓50+顧 客群與商界加強聯繫，攜手為打做美 滿的人生下半場努力。

Hong Kong, like many other developed cities, enjoys high life expectancy. However, although the 50 plus population (people age 50 or above) is rapidly expanding, the services and products designed and provided to this market segment is less attended to. The silver hair market is yet to be developed in aspects of size, diversity and choices. The campaign HK 50+ Award is initiated to leverage customers’ voices to draw commercial sector’s attention on the opinion of the market. The Award provides a platform for the 50 plus population, as well as the service providers and product manufacturers to interact in enhancing the well-being of second half life.

為了回應本港人口結構改變，本 會的50+悅齡服務於本年度重新定位， 著力改善及加強50歲後人士的服務。 我們將繼續與各合作夥伴攜手努力， 為 他們創造 更豐富和更多元化的生 活。

My warmest welcome to you all to the HK 50+ Award.

The Award is particularly special as it is the first-of-its-kind in Hong Kong. The 50+ (people aged 50 or above) like any other group, are a diverse customer base with varied tastes, interests and preferences in products and services. However, they are more self-reliant and better-informed than past generations. Freedom to choose is their core value to live. The Award pulls together the 50+ customers and various brands in the market. For the first time, the 50+ can speak for themselves and vote the best brand they like. The response is overwhelming with a record over 20,000 votes and more than 40% of the voters aged between 50 to 59. I foresee the market will respond swiftly and the number of services and products tailored for the 50+ will be proliferated in the years ahead while the 50+ will keep on to fuel economic activity far longer.

In response to the emerging population of 50+, our Active Ageing core service has re-positioned herself and set new priorities to strengthen the service in this new target segment. The Core Service will continue to work hand in hand with various partners with a bid to bring prosperous and fulfilled lives for the 50+.

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government is committed to enhancing the competitiveness of Hong Kong, providing a business-friendly environment and support for the development of industry and commerce in Hong Kong.

In 2016, there are over 3 million people aged 50 or above (50+) in Hong Kong and the aged population will continue to expand in coming decades. Despite the growing number of 50+, the local silver hair market potential is yet to be fully realized in terms of capacity and diversity. The 50+ nowadays are better educated and with higher spending power than their previous generation, and they can support a higher quality of life. This implies a soaring demand of service and product that are specifically designed for them.

I am delighted to hear the success of the first HK50+ Award.

Like many developed economies in the world, Hong Kong is at the threshold of a large demographic shift as the generation of baby boomers starts to retire. Improvement in health and shrinking fertility rates also add to our rapidly greying population.

No doubt, an ageing population poses challenges to Hong Kong in every aspect. However we believe successful ageing cannot be achieved without the input from public together with private sector.

The HK50+ Award demonstrates a pioneered model which aims to open up a collaboration model between the public sector (NGO) and private sector, in order to promote the wellbeing of the 50+.

At last, may I express my gratitude to every company and organization who have worked so hard to bring a better future for our 50+ .

It is my honor to be one of the panel judges for the HK50+ Award.

As a 50+ individual myself, I deeply feel the impact of this initiative. A number of my friends are also entering their fifties. This is the time for us to shift our focus away from career and achievement, and to start living life for meanings.

Being in the “Third Age” has led me to become more attentive to details in life and more appreciative of people and things around me. I believe that having more thoughtful goods and services in aspects such as catering, transportation and utilities will surely improve our daily life. “Better Choices” is the course of “Better Life”. Gathering opinions from 50+ individuals will be a first powerful step in driving changes and improvements in the market.

Over 20,000 individuals aged 50 or above have voted for their favorite brands in the HK50+ Award, voicing out their opinions and desire for better choices of goods and services. It is truly my pleasure to play a part in the HK50+ Award – the first and the only voting event in Hong Kong targeting 50+ individuals.

Free Smart Pama Workshops Youngsters may want to buy a smartphone as a gift for their parents – but maybe they don’t have the time to teach Mum and Dad how to master all the various functions. No problem! csl runs “Smart Pama” workshops to do just that. Our coaches cover all the fundamentals, as well as how to use instant messengers such as WhatsApp and social platforms like Facebook for sharing photos and communicating with friends and family. csl runs 100 workshops every

month including “Smart Pama”, smartphone and tablet classes, as well as smart interest groups.

These events take place in csl shops and cover topics ranging from online streaming of TV drama programs, system notifications and mobile Internet browsing through to checking stock quotes and playing mahjong.

“Smart Pama” workshops make sure parents stay connected with the rest of the world, while enjoying the latest technologies with newfound confidence.

Ultimate Data Transfer & Device Diagnosis Service^ Our one-stop handset datatransfer solution migrates info and content from old to new mobile device without leaving any data behind. Senior citizens can visit any csl shop to have their phonebook, SMS, video, photo and audio data transferred speedily from one handset to another – and all for free. csl’s Ultimate Data Transfer & Device Diagnosis Service^ makes changing to a new smartphone an easy and hassle-free exercise.

Developing our services & products to make them more relevant We continue to help our more mature customers get the best out of their smartphones and the latest technologies in order to enhance everyday lifestyles. csl also plans to make adjustments to various products and services – such as data packages and value-added services – to make them more relevant to this important section of our society.

Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited The Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited (“KMB”) has been serving the public since 1933.

With a fleet of more than 3,800 buses operating on a network of around 390 bus routes, KMB is the largest franchised bus operator in Hong Kong. A workforce of around 11,000 people delivers safe, reliable, and value-added customer services on more than 2.6 million passenger-trips every day.

At the end of June 2016, the in-house developed Bus Estimated

Time Arrival (“ETA”) service had been applied to all KMB routes.

Passengers are able to obtain bus arrival information via display panels at bus stops, as well as via the KMB/ LWB smartphone app and the KMB website. Providing real-time bus information for the whole fleet, the “Nearby ETA” feature gives users the estimated arrival time of buses on nearby routes.

Barrier-free Facilities shows Our Care We regularly review the bus facilities to provide passengers with convenient and comfortable bus journeys, including: Super-low floor bus body can be lowered to 25 cm (about 10 inches) from the ground. There is no steps at the door. Wheelchair ramp is located at the entrance and can be extended to the pedestrian.

Bus compartments with wheelchair parking areas, with a stop bell on the special handrails.

Buses with wide compartments and ergonomic seats are arranged in 2 + 2 to make passengers more comfortable.

The bus stop announcing system broadcasts the name of the next station in three languages for the convenience of the elderly and those in need.

Non-slip and fresh-colored handrails on buses for passengers use in different areas on the bus. We also reminded the passengers to hold the handrails through the announcing system and posters posted in the bus.

Priority seats are set up along with dark purple headrests to show the elderly, pregnant women, babies and the disabled, to remind passengers of the obligation of those in need.

Straight staircase to connect the upper and lower compartment, to facilitate the passengers on and off.

Bus air conditioning system with advanced temperature and humidity control devices and electrostatic air filtration, is able to remove up to 80% of the fine particles. KMB regularly conducts a review with the bus manufacturers on the design and construction of super-low floor buses.

Safety-oriented Bus Services A number of technological devices are built into buses to improve safety and record operational data, including speed limiting devices, which limit the speed of buses to 70 km/h, and the telematics system.

All buses undergo an ISO-certified maintenance regime, comprising daily, monthly, semi-annual minor dock and annual road-worthiness inspections carried out at our depots, in addition to random checks from the Transport Department of the HKSAR Government.

Take Care of the Community We gradually install the prominent rooftop signs, large graphic information boards, benches, standing seats and provide free WiFi service. By the end of June 2016, around 300 LED display panels had been installed to notify passengers of the estimated arrival time of the next bus. About 160 seats were installed at bus shelters, bus termini and interchanges for the elderly, disabled and parents with young children.

KMB has been providing half fare concessions to senior citizens aged 65 or above, and supports “Senior Citizen’s Day” every year, by offering free rides to people aged 65 and over on that day.

Creative-led Bus Services Looking ahead, KMB will continue to invest in resources to purchase the latest models of green buses to enhance the quality of service.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) aims to provide quality leisure and cultural services that are commensurate with Hong Kong's development as a world-class city and events capital.

In respect of leisure services, apart from providing quality public recreation and sports facilities to foster public participation in recreational and sports activities, LCSD also organises a wide range of recreation and sports activities to enrich the quality of life of the community.

LCSD provides fitness rooms in 73 sports centres in the territory for all registered users. These fitness rooms are equipped with various kinds of aerobic and resistant training apparatus. Resident coaches will be stationed at designated venues to provide professional coaching services for fitness room users.

Members of the public could apply for registration as fitness room users through participating in fitness workshops or training courses organised in 18 districts. Senior citizens aged 60 or above could join the "Fitness (Multi-gym) Training Courses for Elderly” which are tailormade for them. Depending on their usage, users may buy hourly ticket (Non-peak rate $13/ Peak rate $14) or monthly ticket ($180) while monthly ticket are entitled to unlimited entry of fitness facilities within the validity period. Senior citizens aged 60 or above may enjoy the concessionary rates.
