2025 Showguide CONVERGE

A Municipal Works, Civil & Commercial Construction Event

Welcome to Converge Expo 2025

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the inaugural Converge Expo – a bold new platform created to bring together the many threads of Australia’s construction sector under one roof.

Our industry is vast, diverse and undergoing profound change. As we confront the challenges of labour shortages, supply chain instability, sustainability imperatives and shi ing regulatory frameworks, the need for connection and collaboration has never been greater. Yet, despite the shared pressures across municipal works, civil infrastructure and commercial construction, too o en these sectors have moved in parallel rather than in partnership.

Converge Expo was born from the belief that better outcomes come when we build together. By uniting government decision makers, Tier 1 contractors, major project teams, engineers, subcontractors, regulators and service providers, we are creating space for the conversations that matter – those that bridge traditional silos and spark progress across the board.

Australia’s construction pipeline is both ambitious and essential. We are investing heavily in transport, energy, health and water projects while reimagining urban spaces to support a growing and diverse population. There is a sense of urgency behind this investment, and rightly so. The built environment influences how people live, work and connect. But to deliver on this promise, we must evolve how we design, procure, construct and maintain what we build.

Innovation is already underway. Smart construction technologies are moving from fringe to foundation. New materials are enabling greener, faster builds. Data is transforming project delivery. And workforce development is finally receiving the sustained attention it deserves as we equip the next generation to carry the industry forward.

Converge exists to harness this momentum. Across two days, you will hear from thought leaders who are shaping policy and practice. You will see cutting-edge equipment and digital solutions that are already redefining the job site. You will meet people tackling the same challenges, and come away with new ideas, new contacts and perhaps a new sense of what is possible.

Inside this guide, you will find everything you need to make the most of your time here: from speaker highlights and conference sessions to sponsor insights, exhibitor profiles and a selection of mustsee innovations. Use it as a map, a conversation starter and a window into what lies ahead.

On behalf of the team at Prime Creative Media, thank you for being part of this important beginning. Let’s build Australia’s future, together.

Enjoy the show.

SENIX NEW TOOLS ON THE BLOCK

Premium

performance at excellent value –Senix Tools has arrived

If you haven’t heard of Senix Tools yet tradies, now’s the time to check them out. Looking for tools that can mix it with the top-tier brands quality-wise, while also not burning a hole in your wallet? Get a load of Senix.

What is Senix?

“Premium performance at excellent value,” Senix Tools Australia Vice President Tim Paton described it.

“Although Senix offers a price that is excellent value, our tools spec right up to into heavy trade.”

Senix might have only recently touched down in Australia, but the brand is no stranger to impacting the global trade landscape offering solutions across both Power Tools and OPE through their X2 18V, 2X2 36V, X6 60V, Petrol and Corded ranges in the US and in Europe for years.

Tim said the brand was excited to

provide a new option to the unique Aussie tradie market.

“I think the Australian market and consumers have always been very savvy in terms of being able to look at the brand, look at specs, look at the price, and weigh those three things up and make it a fairly considered decision when they make their purchase,” he explained.

Mix it up

Senix has a massive range of 18V power tools as part of its X2 range that’ll pique any tradie’s interest.

Tradies like Paul Swann; a carpenter working for Done Right based in Melbourne’s east.

From bathroom renos to maintenance and warranty work, his work takes him to all kinds of jobs.

Paul had a chance to put a few Senix tools through their paces and loves what he’s seen so far.

A chippy with 14 years under his belt; Paul’s been around the block a few times with plenty of Australia’s favourite tools brands.

He said the Senix products he’s used have been equal to, or in some cases, better than the other brands. “As tradies, that’s something we really look at,” Paul said.

“You don’t want to go for the cheapest option on the market because it’s not going to hold up. “But Senix is worth it, and sometimes it’s half the price of the other brands. “If you can save money and get a better tool, it’s almost a no-brainer, isn’t it?”

Despite their comparison to other well-known quality brands, going with Senix can save hundreds for tradies.

“We wanted to make sure that tradies are getting a product that is fit for purpose and will outperform some of the bigger boys in the market,” Tim added.

“Now we may not have the width of range of some of those brands, but we’ve always maintained our strong focus is on ensuring have that core foundation of tools that every tradie needs, day in day out, with top endspecs at a great price.”

If you’re a tradie keen to give a new brand a go that’ll save you cash without compromising quality, check out Senix Tools as it expands its footprint in Australia.

You can find out more about the full range of Senix Power Tools and OPE at senix.com.au

Welcome to Converge, Australia’s only one-stop shop for subcontractors, project leaders, council fleet managers, and largescale construction and engineering firms across the municipal works, commercial and civil construction sectors.

We’re very excited to bring you a mixture of live demonstrations, equipment showcases, and conference spaces, showing off the best of each area, allowing the municipal works, commerical and civil construction segments to learn from each other.

It’s our hope that the next two days will provide you with the solutions and ideas that you need to build and maintain the Australia of tomorrow.

Read on to learn what opportunities await, at Converge Expo 2025.

Setting the stage

At Converge, there’s plenty to see and do, but for those that are looking to learn more about what the sector has to offer, as well as the status of some of the largest projects in the country, Converge’s stages are ideal for you.

Across segmented areas and three marquee stage areas, Converge gives you unique insights and information, as well as direct access to some of the biggest names across the municipal works, commercial and civil construction sectors.

Municipal & Solutions Hub

Presented by Council magazine, this stage will offer a niche area for councils and asset managers to see the latest tools available in municipal works.

Featuring municipal councils and suppliers who have worked on innovative developments, this area will present a diverse showcase of projects that shine a light on the incredible works undertaken by the local government sector every year.

This area will also utilise the longstanding association partnerships from titles such as Utility Magazine, The Tradie magazine, Landscaping magazine and Arbour Age magazine, offering attendees exclusive access and exposure to decision makers throughout the municipality sector.

From horticulture equipment through to road maintenance, and larger-scale trade equipment, the area will act as a one-stop-shop for council fleet managers and sub-contractors to see the latest tools on offer, as well as exclusive project insights.

Converge Main Stage

Converge’s Main Stage will feature insights from industry leaders, suppliers and government on projects that are changing the nation, including Victoria’s Big Build infrastructure program, insights from Infrastructure Australia and much more from across Australia’s major commercial projects.
