The Belvoir Estate has launched a small-batch handcrafted gin inspired by the rich history of the estate and created by the Duchess of Rutland. Belvoir Gin marries juniper, coriander and angelica with fig, vanilla and chamomile. The gin has been distilled by local distillery Brentingby’s Tom Nichol and Bruce Midgley. Well balanced notes from the fig and pine from the juniper combine with subtle vanilla on the finish, and sweetness from liquorice and orange peel. The distinctive castle turrets are shown in silhouette through the bottle. n £39,99/ 70cl / 41% ABV

Local Distillery Bottomley Launches Lincolnshire Whisky

1. A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this Burgundy Crémant offers remarkable complexity. Well-structured with aromas of red and citrus fruits dominate,but the nose has hints of flowers and butter too; £21.99 / 75cl / 12% ABV.
