Hand knitted vegetal silk 143 x 92 cm Emmanuel Thibault’s photography is graphically reworked and turned into design objects for interior and architecture, such as luxury rugs. These pieces embody the full potential of a global collaboration between various artists, designers and editors. The photo in design work presented this year is Idol, a fully hand knitted rug in vegetal silk designed for Diacasan Edition Paris.

A similar design approach is also applied to other materials used for interior and architecture: fabrics, metal, glass, concrete, ceramics, stone, etc., choosing each time a special styling concept with a transversal work to reveal its highest potential. Emmanuel Thibault is regularly collaborating with the french designer Jean-Paul Espinosa and the brand Sylvain et Plume, and he designs his own pieces, such as the lamp Contour.
