WRITER OF THE MONTH
Madhurima had already released three poetry books this year fetching enormous positive reviews from readers. As she feels exhilarated in writing poems her admiration towards story is infinite hence landed her to mark her first debut with a novel currently in progress. "I am extremely excited with this novel titledWhen Love Lasts. A love story revolving aroundba film actor and a Teacher cum writer who apparently constructs a book about him and in this process how they meet and how their fate will direct them to destiny with several twists is what story is all about" says with joy.
Being this a first time Madhurima working on a novel, she has been already teasing readers with glimpse of visuals captivating huge attention and curiosity. When asked about the process she is going through to construct the novel, she said "I have been doing research in giving proper treatment to male protagonist. For this I am.taking inspiration from the traits of Naveen Polishetty (an actor from South) to make the character more realistic. It's coming out so well and I am honestly diving deeper now. This book will even comprise several illustrations evoke the mood of main protagonists"
Madhurima had already received positive reviews on her poetry write ups and even the books. Yet, her confidence level seems to be exhibiting in modest ways as she genuinely believes success is not the only key to uplift career

With the world having contemporary story tellers and poets, Madhhrima admits to be striving to mark her place in the literary field. Although, she is a qualified visual artist but her love for literature had begun during her early teens.
As she recollects the bitterness of her past, reveals how writing has become a therapy to elude the tumultuous situation. I do not have much social circle. I have friends but best ones are few. And I usually don't share my things easily so I had always relied on diary where I translated my agony into poems and short stories.
Being a student of visual arts of course, this fetched advantage to expose my writing journey among peers. Some of them were even made to short films" she says. Megha Rao and Preeti Shenoy are the inspiration to Madhurima for igniting the spark of interest towards writing. Albeit the lack of guidance and support, she never gave up learning and getting inspired from her favorite authors. When asked about the struggles to publish her work she says,
"When you love something, you won't feel it a struggle. For me literature is a journey where I love to sail even over storm. It gives me pleasure. Even out of 80 readers at least 20 are reading, I feel grateful for those taking joy in my words. I am putting extra care and effort for this book. Like I sit, write and edit and I don't get satisfied easily so I edit it again then polish the manuscript. Nearly 20 times I keep reviewing each chapter to check for flaws. Well what they say- A course of true love never runs smooth in my case, this novel is my true love" she ends with wide smile.
