President This work feels especially important right now.

Our students are growing up in a world that asks a lot of them, and they need a community that knows them, supports them, challenges them, and reminds them that their voices matter.

As we look ahead, we are also approaching an important milestone. In 2027, Presentation will celebrate 65 years of educating and empowering young women. We will also have the joy of honoring the legacy of our earliest graduates, whose lives remind us that the Pres sisterhood does not end at graduation.

Dear Presentation Community, As another school year comes to a close, I am grateful for the chance to reflect on all that has unfolded across our Pres community.

In these pages, you will see students leading with courage, stretching themselves, growing in faith, caring for one another, discovering their gifts, and bringing our mission to life in meaningful ways.

That is what makes a Presentation education so powerful. Pres prepares students for what comes next while helping them become confident, compassionate, courageous young women who know their gifts and are ready to bring positive change to the world.

For more than six decades, Pres has remained grounded in the mission entrusted to us by the Sisters of the Presentation. At the same time, we continue to grow, adapt, and move Pres forward so that each new generation of students is ready for the world she is stepping into.

Thank you for the many ways you strengthen this extraordinary community. I hope you enjoy reflecting on this year through the stories in these pages, and I look forward to all that lies ahead for Pres.

Dear Presentation Community, When people talk about exceptional outcomes, they often begin with statistics. At Presentation, we begin with students.

We believe young women thrive when they are challenged academically, supported personally, encouraged to lead, and inspired to discover their unique gifts and purpose. Our motto, “Not Words, but Deeds” guides everything we do.

Throughout these pages, you will see students excelling in the classroom, athletics, the arts, service, leadership, and faith formation. You will see young women embracing challenges, supporting one another, and growing into confident leaders. You will see women who are going to make a difference in our world.

The results speak for themselves. The Class of 2026 earned more than $10.5 million in scholarships, achieved a 100% college matriculation rate, and includes 28 first-generation college students. Seniors earned admission to some of the nation’s most selective colleges and universities, including Columbia University, Stanford University, the University of Notre Dame, UCLA, UC Berkeley, New York University, Georgia Tech, the University of Virginia, Villanova University, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

More importantly, they leave Pres prepared to lead, serve, and thrive in the next chapter of their lives.

These accomplishments are not the result of any single program or opportunity. They are the product of an educational experience grounded in the charism of the Presentation sisters that values the growth of the whole person.

Educator Spotlight: Ms. Heidi Contreras Whether she is teaching Spanish, supporting families, mentoring students through LatinX and Familias Unidas, or helping preserve the legacy of Nano Nagle and the Presentation Sisters through her service on the Presentation Movement Board, Heidi Contreras is dedicated to helping students feel connected, valued, and empowered.

As Pres's Spanish Outreach and Family Support Liaison, Heidi is passionate about building bridges between cultures, languages, and communities. She hopes her students leave Pres understanding the power of language and feeling proud of the cultures and identities that shape who they are. Through her work both inside and outside the classroom, Heidi helps create the sense of belonging that is at the heart of the Pres experience.

INDIVIDUALIZED PATHS. Our college counseling program is designed to provide students with exceptional individualized support, made possible by a counselor-to-student ratio that is among the best of local high schools. The Class of 2026 submitted 2,023 applications and received 1,103 offers of admission from 276 colleges and universities nationwide.

Students also secured places in competitive Direct Admit Nursing, Engineering, Computer Science, BS/MD, Honors College, QuestBridge, EOP, and collegiate athletics programs—demonstrating that success looks different for every Pres student. Twenty-eight graduates, nearly 20% of the class, will be the first in their families to attend college.

Presentation's Robotics Team 2135 earned both the Creativity Award and Autonomous Award during a successful 2026 season that culminated in competition at the Northern California State Championship. Ranked among the top 11% of teams worldwide, the Panthers achieved several program firsts, including completing a practice robot in time for Week Zero competition and competing in three events across four weekends.

Powered by more than 8,000 student hours, Team 2135 continues to demonstrate excellence in engineering, innovation, and student leadership.

Presentation’s Project Invent participants earned two of the four major awards at the Northern California Project Invent Demo Day in San Francisco. Clarity Lens Team received the Need Finder Award for its accessible technology supporting visually impaired individuals, while Team E.A.T. (Exit All Together) earned the Moonshot Award for its innovative exitnavigation system. The achievement also marks Presentation's third consecutive year receiving the Moonshot Award.

Through collaborative learning, thoughtful discussion, and opportunities to lead and serve alongside their peers, students learn to listen, communicate, and solve problems together.

Pres students traveled to Spain to visit their exchan ge partners, deepening cultural connec tions and bringing classro om learning to life through travel and shared experiences.

Pres students harvested oranges from the campus garden and worked together to create fresh orange juice, bringing hands-on learning, sustainability, and community to life.

A New Chapter for Panther Athletics

Athletics play an important role in the Presentation experience.

Through competition, our student-athletes develop confidence, resilience, leadership skills, and a commitment to something greater than themselves. They learn how to work together, rise to challenges, and pursue excellence both on and off the field.

As we look ahead, we are excited to begin a new chapter for Panther Athletics through our transition to the West Bay Athletic League (WBAL).

This move represents a strategic placement and opportunity for the future of our athletic programs. By joining a league with schools that share a similar size and structure, we are creating an environment that supports both competitive success and long-term program growth.

The WBAL provides our student-athletes with increased opportunities to compete, contribute, and lead. It creates a strong competitive landscape where our teams can continue to develop, grow, and achieve success while strengthening the student-athlete experience across every program.

This past fall, our Flag Football team captured the WBAL Skyline Division Championship with an undefeated league season and advanced to the CCS Finals. Their success reflects the talent, dedication, and competitive spirit that define Panther Athletics and offers an exciting glimpse of what lies ahead.

Across all sports, our focus remains clear: building programs that challenge our athletes to compete at their highest level while providing opportunities for every student-athlete to develop as a leader, teammate, and competitor.

Innovation Jeanelle, Alexa, Seth, and Vanessa demonstrate that innovation is about more than technology, it is about using creativity, collaboration, and curiosity to make a meaningful impact. As Co-Captain and Mechanical Design Director of the Pres robotics team, Jeanelle helps drive innovation while mentoring newer members and creating opportunities for others to learn and belong.

Damaris and Carolina lead by helping others feel seen, supported, and valued. Through Campus Ministry, the Wellness Center, SNAC (Pres’ student-led special needs advocacy community), Panther Pathways, and countless everyday interactions, they create spaces where students feel welcomed and connected. Damaris is known for her quiet strength, compassion, and ability to make others feel known, while Carolina brings empathy, creativity, and a commitment to inclusion in everything she does. Together, they reflect the spirit of belonging that defines the Pres community and inspires others to find their place within it.

Spirit Leena and Delaney demonstrate that leadership at Pres takes many forms, but always begins with a commitment to serving others.

Through student government, athletics, and campus involvement, both have earned the respect of their peers by leading with integrity, compassion, and action. Whether supporting fellow student leaders behind the scenes, building school spirit, or bringing people together through shared experiences, they exemplify the Pres motto, Not Words, But Deeds. Leena is known for leading with confidence, empathy, and heart, while Dance Program Director Ms. Sara Fugate shares that Delaney “leads by example, showing what it means to work hard while still having fun.”

Anika brings intellectual curiosity, empathy, and fearless communication to every challenge, while Juliana leads with positivity, resilience, and sportsmanship. Together, they show that great leaders create environments where others feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed.

From Pulitzer Prize-winning journalism and military leadership to engineering, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and community-building, these women are using their talents to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Their paths may be different, but they share a common foundation: the confidence, character, and commitment to purpose that define the Pres experience.

Megan Fan Munce ’18 is helping Californians better understand some of the most pressing challenges facing their communities. As a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle's climate team, she focuses on California's insurance crisis and wildfire recovery, using investigative and explanatory journalism to make complex issues accessible and actionable for the public.

In 2026, Megan was part of the Chronicle team awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting for Burned, a groundbreaking series that revealed how insurance companies systematically underinsured California homeowners affected by wildfires, often leaving families unable to rebuild despite believing they had full coverage. The reporting helped spark regulatory investigations and proposed legislation, demonstrating the power of journalism to inform the public and drive meaningful change.

Through her work, Megan exemplifies the curiosity, courage, and commitment to service that continue to shape Pres alumnae long after graduation.

LTC Katie Werback ’01 LTC Kathryn "Katie" Werback ’01 has built a career defined by leadership, service, and engineering excellence. A civil engineer, licensed Professional Engineer, and U.S. Army officer, Katie has spent nearly two decades leading complex infrastructure and construction projects around the world while serving her country.

Throughout her military career, Katie has deployed in support of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, commanded engineering units, and served in leadership roles across Europe, the Pacific, and the United States. In 2024, she assumed command of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Walla Walla District, overseeing critical civil works, infrastructure, and environmental projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. From the classroom at Pres to leading engineering efforts around the world, Katie's journey exemplifies a life dedicated to leadership, innovation, and service.

Cathy Bandy ’90 Schwarz P’27 From major educational campuses to mixed-use developments, Cathy Bandy Schwarz has helped shape some of Northern California's most significant construction projects. A civil engineer and department leader at BKF Engineers, she now oversees teams responsible for environmental compliance and stormwater protection across much of California.

Cathy credits Pres with giving her the confidence to pursue engineering and the leadership skills to thrive in a male-dominated profession. Her career reflects the perseverance, expertise, and commitment to excellence that continue to define Pres alumnae.

A longtime business owner and community leader, Kristin Dickens has spent nearly five decades bringing people together through The Party Helpers. We extend our sincere thanks to Kristin and her team for helping make this year's Life in Plaid Fashion Show & Auction a memorable celebration for the Pres community.

Inspired by her own experience as a mother, Cat founded Mama Flow Studio, a San Jose-based prenatal and postpartum wellness community. Through movement, education, and support, she helps women navigate one of life's most transformative seasons with confidence and connection.

Certified Athletic Trainer Jenna Gomes combines her passion for athletics and service to support student-athletes at Willow Glen High School while continuing her work with the San Francisco 49ers organization. She credits Pres with teaching her resilience, teamwork, and leadership.

Faith in Action GROWING DAY BY DAY - TOGETHER Inspired by Nano Nagle’s legacy, Pres students put faith into action each day through prayer, service, leadership, and care for others.

Whether leading liturgies, organizing outreach efforts, or serving the broader community, students learn that true leadership begins with compassion and a commitment to the common good. As one student shared, “My faith and my leadership aren’t separate parts of who I am, they strengthen each other.”

Where She Grows CLASS LEVEL RETREATS Retreats are one of the most meaningful ways students experience community and personal growth at Pres. Open to students of all faith backgrounds, these experiences invite young women to step away from daily pressures, reflect on who they are becoming, strengthen friendships, and build confidence. This year, nearly 80% of Pres students chose to participate in retreats, a reflection of the belonging and transformation these experiences inspire. As one student shared, “Even though I am not Catholic, I feel completely embraced and included in this community. I am valued.”

Whether through the Panther Fund, Tuition Assistance, Life in Plaid, endowment support, or investments in future campus enhancements, generosity helps sustain the programs, opportunities, mentorship, and sense of belonging that allow students to grow academically, spiritually, creatively, and personally.

The impact of that support can be seen in the accomplishments of our students, the strength of our programs, and the opportunities that help young women discover their gifts and pursue their aspirations.

Dear Presentation Community, Over the past several months, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know many of the people who make Presentation such a special place.

Again and again, I have been struck by the generosity of this community and its belief in the potential of every young woman.

At Pres, philanthropy is about more than financial support. It is about creating opportunity, expanding access, and helping ensure that students can fully experience all that a Presentation education has to offer.

A Night with Purpose LIFE IN PLAID “TIMELESS” From the opening performances to the student-led fashion show, this year's Life in Plaid reflected the Pres community at its best: creative, confident, and connected. Students, families, alumnae, faculty, staff, and friends came together for an evening filled with energy, celebration, and a shared commitment to supporting future Panthers.

One of the most meaningful moments of the night came as alumnae Diana C. ’24 and Ximena A. ’25 shared their Pres stories. Speaking with honesty and gratitude, they reminded attendees that the impact of a Pres education extends far beyond graduation. Their experiences brought the evening's purpose into focus: creating opportunities for young women to discover their strengths, find their voice, and pursue their full potential.

That same spirit was evident throughout the student-run fashion show, where members of the Class of 2026 transformed months of planning and collaboration into an unforgettable celebration. Together, the Pres community raised more than $400,000 for Tuition Assistance, helping ensure that more students can experience the opportunities, support, and sisterhood that define a Pres education.

MEET THE STUDENT LEADERS: Life in Plaid is extra meaningful because it is entirely student-led. This year, four seniors from the Class of 2026 boldly stepped into the role of Event Chairs, discovering along the way that leadership can take many forms, from creativity and collaboration to resilience, problem-solving, and serving others with heart.

Class Highlights

Olivia DiVittorio ’16 Brown and her husband, Steve, met at Seattle University during their junior year. They got married 6 years later on October 11, 2025 at Church of the Nativity and their reception was at the Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club.

Jen Greenfield ’10 graduated from Santa Clara University with her Master’s in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in early childhood and infant mental health. She is working as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Alum Rock Counseling Center, serving children ages 0-5 and their families.

Six members of Presentation’s Class of 1981 gathered in Washington state to celebrate almost 45 years of friendship this summer. Elena Iacomini McShane, Lauren Gallucci Silva, Ellen Boitano Morris, Karen Bryan Adams, Dina Cannizzaro, and Mary Kay Going.

Little Panthers CONGRATULATIONS ARE IN ORDER

Kaitlyn Dahl ’11 Cwiklinski married Christopher Cwiklinski on October 5, 2025, in Mount Vernon, Virginia. Standing beside Kaitlyn were three fellow Pres alumnae and close friends she met during her time at Presentation: Kelly Larson ’09, Lizzi Wanschura ’11, and Jaclyn Gioiosa-Frickleton ’10.

Daniela Curiel ’14 married Efrain Chavez on October 4, 2025, at the University of Portland Chapel in Portland, Oregon. After more than seven years of long-distance dating between California and Oregon, Daniela relocated to Portland earlier this year ahead of their fall wedding. Standing beside her were maid of honor MaryJane Proffitt ’14 and bridesmaids Selena Siadat ’14 Kebe, Marisa Lopez ’14, and Elizabeth Laus ’15.
