CAST BIOS

Kalea Acosta Marcy Park, *Dance Captain Kalea is a sophomore at Presentation High School, and she is so excited to be performing in her fourth show at Pres and her eleventh show overall.

Her most recent shows include The Little Mermaid (Aquata) and The Addams Family (Wednesday). Outside of theatre, Kalea enjoys dancing with Presentation’s Dance Company, performing with ITS, and hanging out with her friends. She’d like to thank the entire cast, crew, and her family for making this experience so great. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Milo Dizon William Barfee Milo Dizon is a sophomore and is so excited to be performing in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee !

Some of his past favorite shows include Newsies (Davey), Pippin (Player), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph), You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (Linus), and The Music Man (Charlie Cowell). When not onstage, Milo loves drawing, writing, and walking his dog.

He would like to thank his parents and younger sister for all their support during the process; He could not have done it without them. Enjoy The Bee !

Sophie Hawkins Leaf Coneybear Sophie is a junior and is so excited to portray Leaf Coneybear at Presentation!! Some of her favorite past shows include Hadestown (Eurydice) and The Spongebob Musical (SpongeBob) at RJJT, The Little Mermaid (Ariel) at PHS, Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins) at PYT, and The Sound of Music (Maria) at CMTSJ. Outside of theater, Sophie loves cats.

Claire Lundgaard Walter (Wally) Mops, Carl Dad, Leaf's Dad Claire is a freshman at Presentation and is thrilled to be part of this immensely talented Spelling Bee cast.

You may recognize Claire from her performance as Sebastian in the Pres fall musical, The Little Mermaid , or the eccentric King from ITS' Game of Tiaras . In her 16th overall theatrical production, having performed primarily with Starting Arts and Dream Team 2, some favorite past roles include Archie in 13 , Peter Pan/Pied Piper in Shrek , and Race in Newsies .

Ella Magbitang Olive Ostrovsky Ella is a sophomore and is so excited to be playing one of her longtime dream roles! This is her 16th show overall. A few of her favorite past shows include: Pippin (Player) at Starting Arts, and CMTSJ’s Disney’s Frozen (Courtier) and Crazy For You (Follies Tapper). Outside of theatre she loves to tap, play guitar, and spend time with her family and friends. She is so grateful for this opportunity and wants to thank the directors, cast, and crew for making this show so special! She hopes you E-N-J-O-Y The Bee !

Grace Martin Chip Tolentino Grace is a sophomore and is so excited to be in her fourth production at Presentation! Spelling Bee will be her twenty-second production overall.

Outside of theatre, she enjoys playing Minecraft and hanging out with friends. She would like to thank her parents, friends, and her vocal coach.

Abby Nguyen Dr. Sunny Seemore, Leaf's Mom, Peggy Jenkins Abby is a current sophomore at Presentation and is so excited to be a part of her second Pres show in this year's production of Spelling Bee !

Some of her favorite roles include, Ancestor in The Addams Family and Connie Wong in A Chorus Line ! Outside of performing, Abby loves to hang out with friends and go to the beach. She would love to thank this wonderful cast and crew and her family for the endless support and love! She hopes you enjoy this un-BEE-lievable show!!

Sebastian Paigen Vice Principal Douglas Panch Sebastian is a sophomore at Branham High School. He’s incredibly grateful to Presentation for allowing him to be a part of the show despite not attending; This will be his fifth show at Presentation. Starting as Sebastian in Cinderella, The Addams Family (Fester), Julius Caeser (Tech), The Little Mermaid (Triton), and now, Panch in Spelling Bee . Sebastian wants to thank his family and every person who was able to make this show happen, especially tech.

H annah Peters Rona Lisa Peretti, Olive’s Mom

Hannah is excited to be playing Rona in this production! She is a senior at Presentation High School, and this is her 45th show overall. Some of her favorite past productions include: The SpongeBob Musical (SpongeBob), The Prom (Alyssa Greene), Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Matilda the Musical (Matilda), Pippin (Fastrada) Into the Woods (Little Red RidingHood), The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), High School Musical (Sharpay Evans), Cinderella (Charlotte), Seussical (Mayzie La Bird), and YAGMCB (Sally Brown). Alina Siudzinski Mitch Mahoney, Dan Dad, Olive’s Dad Alina is a senior and is thrilled to be a part of their last production at Presentation High School. Some of their past favorite shows include Shrek the Musical (Pinocchio) at PHS, The Little Mermaid (Scuttle) at PHS, RENT (Mrs Cohen & Coat Vendor) at CMTSJ, and Hunchback of Notre Dame (Ensemble) at CMTSJ. When not on stage you can find Alina hanging out and playing games with their friends and family. They hope you remember to spell with patience and care, and most importantly, to enjoy the show.

Avery Swanson Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre Avery is a junior, and is so excited to be in her fourth musical at Presentation in her first lead role.

Earlier this school year, she participated in the school's production of The Little Mermaid (Flotsam/Gull/Chef), and she is overjoyed that she gets to help bring the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee to life. Outside of theatre, Avery enjoys sewing, baking, and reading. She would like to dedicate her performance to her mother and grandmother, both of whom encourage her to continue pursuing the arts.

CREW BIOS

Lorraine Adams Assistant Stage Manager, Director’s Assistant Lorraine is a senior, and she is very excited to be part of her final show here at Presentation! She has been involved in multiple Pres shows, some of her favorite past roles including Ensemble in Legally Blonde , Peter Pan in Shrek the Musical , and Windward/Wave in The Little Mermaid .

Outside of rehearsal, she enjoys being with her friends, drawing, and writing.

This is her first time being on crew for a show, and she is excited for you to see all of the hard work the cast and crew put into this production. She hopes you won’t have a cow at the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee !

Hadley Barwegen L4 Spotlight Operator Hadley hopes you enjoy the show!

Roxy England A3 Pit Sound Roxy is in ninth grade and is excited to do her first show on crew. Past shows she has performed in include: Into the Woods (Bakers Wife), Guys & Dolls (Hotbox Girl) and Frozen (Hanz). She looks forward to the many more productions she’ll be participating in with Presentation.

Pixley Ferree Costume Crew Pixley is a sophomore and is very excited to be a part of the spring production.

She has worked on costumes for Frozen Jr ., Cinderella, Julius Caesar , and The Little Mermaid .

Aside from performing, Pixley likes to travel, sew, and be with friends.

Aliyah Gutierrez Head of Props & Deck Aliyah hopes you enjoy the show!

Alma Gutierrez Head of Props & Deck Alma is a senior and is so excited to be working with her theatre peers one last time. She loves tech, especially stage managing! Previously, she has taken part in The Little Mermaid , The Addams Family , Cinderella, She Kills Monsters , and with ITS! Additionally, she is part of Pres’ Choral program.

She would like to congratulate the cast and crew for all their hard work and thank all the audience members for their support!

Alejandra Islas Costume Crew Alejandra hopes you enjoy the show!

Stella Mancuso Costume Crew Stella is overjoyed that she is able to be a part of this year’s spring production at Pres! This being her first time participating in backstage crew, she’s excited to see what’s next in her costume journey. As part of the school’s improv team, “Spontaneous Combustion”, she hopes to get a laugh from the audience in her future performances. Giving a warm thank you to her friends, her girlfriend, and her lovely family for giving her courage to work on this show, she hopes you love the performance and come back for more!

Kristelle T. Mateu A2 SFX Kristelle is a sophomore and is very excited to tech for this production! Her past theatre experiences include Sound Assistant for Julius Caesar and ITS-Musical Snipits , and Presentation’s fall production, The Little Mermaid (Adella/Princess). She has also been a member of “Bella Voce” for two years.

Aside from performing, Kristelle loves to design, animate, and watch Treasure Planet (2002). She wants to thank God, her family, and her friends for this opportunity and hopes you enjoy!!

Sadie Monaco ASM, Head of Hair and Makeup Sadie is a junior and this is her sixth show at Presentation. She’s so excited to be ASM and for you to see all the hard work the cast and crew has put in.

Caitlyn Olson A1 Soundboard Operator (Head) Caitlyn is a junior at Pres and this is her eighth mainstage production. She has previously worked on The Addams Family and The Little Mermaid as the soundboard operator and in Julius Caesar as the stage manager. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Sahi Penumarthy Stage Manager Sahi is a junior at Presentation and has been a part of the theatre program for the past two years. She is ~buzzing~ with excitement to be stage managing this show (get it cuz spelling bee)! She would like to thank Redbull and Monster Energy for supporting her throughout the production of this show. This cast and crew is very special to her, and she hopes you enjoy watching the show as much as she loves being a part of it!

Alexa Pokorny Promotional Liaison, Front-of-House Alexa is a sophomore at Pres and she's so excited to be a part of Spelling Bee ! This is her first time on tech, but she has been doing theatre since she was little. Some of her favorite productions she has participated in are The Addams Family (Ancestor, U/S Wednesday) and The Little Mermaid (Andrina). She is also an officer for the improv team, “Spontaneous Combustion”. She wants to thank her family and friends for all their support and hopes you enjoy The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee .

Ashton Russe-Hill Hair and Makeup Crew Ashton is so excited to be a part of Hair and Makeup for her first ever time on tech! Her onstage performance experience includes making her Pres theatre debut in The Little Mermaid this fall, and a Worker in Hadestown: Teen Edition last summer. Ashton wants to thank Sadie, her H&M crew head, for being an awesome leader on her first time as a techie!

Kaylee Sabbatini Hair and Makeup Crew Kaylee is a freshman and is very excited to be taking part in her second ever show! She was on Hair and Makeup crew in The Little Mermaid and is thrilled to do it again in Spelling Bee ! Aside from theatre, Kaylee loves trying new hairstyles and practicing to get better. She also joined Dance Company and she is loving it. She thanks her parents and everyone who put Spelling Bee together for this opportunity!

Meli Shir L1 Lightboard Operator (Head) Meli is a senior and is thrilled to be part of the spring production. After first getting involved in theatre through The Little Mermaid , she discovered a passion for working behind the scenes, which inspired her to continue with ITS productions and Spelling Bee . Meli is especially grateful for the opportunity to spend one last show with the people she’s built strong connections with, making this experience all the more meaningful and memorable. She would like to thank her friends for encouraging her to participate in theatre.

Nyx Smith Props/Deck Crew Nyx has been a cast member in several Presentations productions: Cinderella, Julius Caesar , and The Little Mermaid . This is their first time as a member of the tech crew, and they are very excited for you to see the show!

Himani Vaidya Head of Costumes Himani is a junior and is very excited to be a part of this production. She would like to thank her parents for this opportunity as well as Ms. Brady and Mr. F for all their hard work. She would also like to thank her amazing crew for their dedication. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Olivia Villalobos L2 Lightboard Apprentice Olivia is in tenth grade here at Pres!

She has been in eight onstage productions, however, this is her first time participating in crew. Outside of theatre, Olivia is on the Presentation Swim and Folkorico teams. She is so excited to be participating in this show and she hopes you enjoy!

Nimah Yaklich Promotional Liaison, Front-of-House This is Nimah’s first show with Presentation Theatre and she is super excited for Spelling Bee ! Nimah is a junior who joined International Thespian Society this year and, having a very agreeable experience, wanted to carry on to do more theatrical productions. The ITS shows that she has participated in this year were Musical Snip-Its (spots) and Game of Tiaras (backstage crew). Nimah is super excited to receive new hoodies and experiences as she continues to participate in Presentation Theatre in more shows to come.

Ellie Yvanovich Props/Deck Crew Ellie is a freshman and is passionate about theatre tech. She enjoys being part of the team that makes each production come together. Whether she's working behind the scenes or supporting her crew, she loves the creativity and collaboration theatre brings. Ellie has been in the recent productions of ITS’ Snip-It’s and Game of Tiaras as part of deck crew. Outside of tech, they enjoy drawing, spending time with their cats, and diving into their favorite Marvel stories.
