Using the Positive Early Childhood Education online module series, participants will be introduced to a set of strategies to build children's social and emotional skills and help children learn and behave in their early childhood setting This training consists of access to four, online self guided modules. Participants will complete each of the modules a their own pace and will use reflection, goal setting and homework to put strategies into practice.

Administrators, owners, and leaders, this one is u! Do you ever feel overwhelmed? Do you eel disengaged? Do you ever feel like you effective? Chances are you may just need a refresh on building your culture and setting goals. You will be given 35 strategies to reignite the spark and to help you get back on track.

Preventing Power Struggles is a training designed to support teachers in creating harmonious learning environments through effective classroom management. pants will explore conflict resolution, behavior gement, and relationship-building, using a multi-step approach to identify triggers, intervene appropriately, and help children return to a safe learning space Drawing from well-known early childhood practices, this training is a valuable addition to any educator’s toolbox whether you are new to teaching or have years of experience

In this training, participants will learn the definition of power struggles and the many practices that they can utilize to prevent power struggles They will examine their own backgrounds so that they can understand how their own thinking might make them more susceptible to being in a power struggle Participants will understand that power struggles are an attempt by a child to meet a need and that all behavior is a form of communication. Participants are introduced to two methods for dealing with power struggles. We also talk about the importance of forgiving yourself when you make mistakes or if you happen to get pulled into a power struggle.

Building a love of reading begins early in children and it starts with the adults in ir lives. As educators, we must give the tructional components in order to take our children from emergent literacy to the developing literacy stage to give them that love

This interactive workshop focuses on the importance of trauma-informed care in early childhood, with an emphasis on supporting children and families Special attention is given to children entering foster, adoptive, or kinship care, who are often moved from their existing child care or school settings Participants will develop a basic understanding of the “why” behind behaviors that children with past or ongoing trauma may exhibit OAHours: 21
This is a self-paced online training that will discuss the referral process of Help Me Grow for Early Intervention and Home Visiting and why referrals are important for children and families and resources available in Ohio
