New art display coming soon Lawrence Presbyterian Manor will soon feature a rotating artist’s display for area artists. The first featured artist will be Jewell Whillhite. Her painting, “St. Edwards Church Rearview,” below, won second place in the professional painting category. Please plan to visit this display often to see the wonderful art created in our community. This year’s Best of Show winner is “Water Lily in my Pond” by Susan Simmons.
Winners of annual art competition announced Lawrence Presbyterian Manor recently hosted a reception for the winning artists in the annual Art is Ageless® juried competition. “We are honored to exhibit artwork by seniors,” said Angela Fonseca, marketing director. “Art is Ageless is unique in featuring only the works of artists age 65 and older.
